Shehrezade & Hilmand’s love story just stepped on the accelerator and we couldn’t be happier. It was such an endearing moment when Hilmand reached out to wipe away Shehrezade’s tears. The use of the OST at that moment with Atif Aslam’s soothing vocals nay scene ko chaar chand laga diye.
Another Highlight
From “Pyar Se Mar Jaonga, Lekin Is Ghar Ke Glass Mein Pani Nahi Piyonga!” to drinking out of the same chai ka cup & calling Nurse Martha his sister, Awwal Khan’s journey was so heart-touching & served as an example to many others.
A shout out to director Saife Hassan for stellar execution here – from the ladder falling through to Martha tending to Awwal Khan’s sprained foot, to Awwal Khan replacing the ladder & drinking tea from the same cup – the scenes were gold!
On The Other Hand
On another note, why is Gulmina making life hard for Hikmet when she knows he wasn’t the one who attacked Hilmand? It seems Hikmet is doomed in all his relationships & our heart goes out to him.
Hassan Noman as Badam Gul delivers yet another heartfelt moment when he’s hurt by Mastaan Singh’s distrust of him. “20 saal ek pyale mein pani peete rahe… aur tu mujhe nahi jaan saka“. He also serves as Mastaan Singh’s conscience by making him realise that his actions will cause suffering to both Hikmet & Harshali now – something Mastaan was unaware of till now.
