Dubai is truly a foodie’s heaven…all your favorite cuisines, franchises and flavors can be found within a mile! So, when a FUCHSIA team member visited the hot and happening city quite recently, the culinary experiences were top-notch and distinct. So, we share with you our quick recommendations from our 4-day trip:
Carnival by Tresind
Carnival by Tresind provides a unique blend of modern Indian cuisine characterized by innovative presentations and flavors that take you on an exceptional culinary journey. The Indian tasting menu features a diverse selection of street food-inspired options alongside seasonal-themed plates, with dishes prepared confidently, lightly spiced, and occasionally infused with a modern twist.
We were highly impressed by the fact that the chef personally elaborated on each dish while you sat in the restaurant’s serene, ambient, low-lit environment. The DJ seamlessly complemented the atmosphere with music that enhanced the overall experience. They have fixed menus for both veg and non-veg prfereances. We tried the non-vegetarian tasting menu.
What We Tried
For drinks, we tried the fancy nitrogen infused berry margarita blast, which was refreshing, delish and SO fascinating! With many courses to be presented to us, our adventure began with the soft and irresistibly squishy pumpkin bao with the coconut chutney presented in an actual coconut shell, can you believe it? How cool! The filling, a perfectly seasoned mincemeat, added a savory touch that left our taste buds satisfied.
Transitioning to a modern and innovative twist on the classic Chana Chaat, we savored the Ghewar Chana Chaat. Featuring yogurt, chickpeas, green chutney, nimco, ghewar, and pomegranate, it was a mouthwatering blend of spiciness, sourness, and the epitome of the perfect chaat experience. Continuing our culinary adventure, we tried the Kohlrabi Tacos, a desi version of perfection. Stuffed with shami kebabs, raw mango chutney, pickled mangoes, and tomatoes, these tacos transformed into an unstoppable fusion of delectable desi flavors.
Following that, we sampled the Grilled Prawns—prawns coated in sugary caramelization, delivering a delightful blend of sweetness and spiciness with a subtle gingery pickled aftertaste. These were so irresistible; we couldn’t help but indulge in them. Amidst the various courses, palate cleansers made a refreshing appearance. These came in the form of ice lollies, each boasting distinct flavors.
Following that, we savored an elevated rendition of the classics: Butter Chicken and Daal. The Daal was smooth, quite fancy with impeccable seasoning. While the butter chicken leaned towards the sweeter side, it still delivered a pleasant taste. However, stealing the spotlight were the Amritsari Kulchas—warm, fluffy, and generously filled with a delectable blend of cheese and daal.
That was not it – the dessert was the actual star of the night! It was an absolute blast of flavours – chocolates, caramel, mango, strawberry, peanut butter. the Gajak was a grand experiential dessert with many different elements. The petite jellies and orbs included a zesty green raw mango jelly paired with a delightful white chocolate ball adorned with real silver and gold flakes, both entirely edible.
Even if you think you dont particularly like desserts, this will really change that for you!
LDC Kitchen + Coffee

Explore a range of options, spanning nutritious breakfast choices to indulgent treats like pizza, pasta, sandwiches, desserts, and beyond. We indulged in a variety of dishes during our visit. The ramen bowl, while a bit on the soupy side, had a flavorful broth. Following that, the alfredo pasta was perfectly creamy and complemented by mushrooms and a pleasant hint of spice. The smoothie bowl was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. Next, the Thai Curry and Rice stood out with its authentic Asian flavors, and the Caesar salad became an instant favorite—refreshing with a delectable dressing. The pizza, though straightforward, catered well to those who prefer a classic done right.
Saving the best for last, the cheesecake proved to be a highlight of the meal, ranking among the best we’ve ever had. Its luscious taste will linger in your dreams, leaving a lasting impression of culinary delight.
So, the Sonara camp, is yes more of an elaborate experience but the food? It deserves its spot right here as our recommendation for a soul soothing Arabian meal! Wait for a full downlow on our experience at the sonara camp…but till then here’s the review on the food. When you sign up for the camp, the meals are a part of the package. They welcome you warmly with refreshing drinks, followed shortly by a tempting array of quick snacks and fun appetizers, including pizza, gol gappas, and much more.
As you bask in the beauty of the sunset, an Arabian-inspired dinner awaits you. Starting with soul-soothing tomato soup, a fresh salad, beetroot hummus paired with grilled vegetables, and an assortment of bread, the meal sets the stage for a feast. Grilled capsicums, delectably prepared potatoes, and steamed eggplants elevate the vegetable dishes to new heights, enhancing their flavors remarkably. The culinary adventure continues with the addition of guacamole and succulent lamb chops, ensuring a dining experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.
For dessert, there was some refreshing and tasty watermelon sorbet with cheesecake! What a divine combination that was! For kiddos and those who are young at heart, you could also just roast some marshmallows and feast on those. Equally delicious!
