What Was The Inspiration Behind Zarrar?
“I think Pakistan was the main inspiration. Mujhay laga yeh jo awaam ko breaking news iskay ilawa jo real news hoti hai agar usko script mein aik commercial film mein laya jaya, musical or love story uskay andar add ki jaye so you have a compact film with all the ingredients in it yet its not irrelevant, its not a fiction. Humein apni khaniyon ka khud musanif hona chaiye takay humein pata kay west mein jo humari story jati hai wo kesi hai”
Shaan Shahid
Shaan shared with us the inspiration behind Zarrar. He told us that he was inspired by Pakistan and wanted to show a story that has everything in it while being relevant to today’s life.

“Yeh character bara well defined character hai, iskay upar bari research ki gayi this or yeh character waisay bhi exist karta hai. Mujhay aisa lagta hai kay jo burai hai uskay andar colours buhat ziada hotay hein. Is character ka jo pehnawa tha mujhay laga iskay liye expression , ismein ankhein boleingi ziada. He is there to get the job done.

Kiran Malik Speaks About Her Role In Zarrar
“It’s a very strong role. Kisi nay mujhay kaha kay sirf Shaan dekheingay movie mein but mein nay kaha Shaan bhi dekheingay or hum sab bhi dekheingay. Her actor has the space. My character is very strong because the whole script is around that. Again it’s not that I’m just sitting and looking pretty, he made sure that my presence is seen with dialogue, action, and with love.
