SharPasand is a brand-new drama serial that has just aired its first two episodes – and here’s what the story is all about!

Farasat Ali (played by Naumaan Ijaz) is a smart but cunning man. On the outside, he looks very pious, kind, and helpful. Everyone in the neighbourhood respects him, listens to him, and believes he is a good person. But in reality, he is clever, manipulative, and selfish.
Rubina (Nadia Afgan), his wife, blindly trusts him. She believes whatever he says and sees the world through his eyes.
Then we meet Fida (Affan Waheed) and Sanam (Hareem Farooq), a young married couple who have recently moved into the neighbourhood. They’ve been married for two years but don’t have any children yet. Both of them work and seem to have a happy relationship.
The story begins when Farasat Ali’s car hits Fida’s car by mistake. To avoid paying for the damage, Farasat cleverly visits Fida’s house with his family, pretending to be kind and helpful. He brings lunch for them and wins their trust. Everyone sees him as a nice, generous neighbour – but it’s all an act.
In the same neighbourhood lives Shazmeen (Hira Mani), a widow who also works. One day, her electricity goes off, and Farasat comes to help. But his intentions are bad. He tries to touch her inappropriately. When Shazmeen stops him and confronts him, Farasat twists the story. He goes outside and tells people that Shazmeen did something wrong instead.
Because people trust Farasat, they believe his lies. Slowly, the entire neighbourhood starts looking at Shazmeen with suspicion and shame – while the real villain, Farasat Ali, continues to act innocent.
The story is full of twists, lies, and hidden intentions that keep viewers hooked from the start. Don’t miss out on the drama Sharpasand, airing every Wednesday and Thursday at 8 PM on ARY Digital.
