Sinfe-e -Aahan’s latest episode delivers smiles & tears. An emotional ride indeed!
From Sidra reversing her gait & making a beeline for the jump, to Mahjabeen attempting to scale the wall, to Rabiya feeling a thorn in her hands, Shaista taking a fall in the obstacle course, Aarzoo putting her head down & getting on with it, Pariwesh adding fuel to fire by telling Rabiya about Mahjabeen’s remarks, the episode not only entertained but also informed how young girls are tested for a career (and life) in the armed forces.
But that wasn’t all, the interview sequence added a personal dimension to the game. Writer Umera Ahmed has penned endearing characters – nervously honest, competitive yet vulnerable – and it is exactly as it should be. These young girls are on the precipice of a poignant journey; getting accepted in the Pakistan Army is just the beginning, not the end. And we are so invested in this journey already that we can’t even decide who to root for the most.

Strong-Minded Girls Are Changing The Game!
Mahjabeen for being outspoken about her dog & makeup love, moving to Canada, and adding glamour to the Army. Arzoo for admitting she has no choice, Shaista for the intense desire to show that she CAN & she WILL, perhaps, better than any male in her family so far, Sidra for trying to step out of her comfort zone, be it speaking in English or taking on an athletic task; she’s facing her fears with courage. And Rabiya, doing the same with her height phobia, and learning that winning might not be everything, and sometimes, team work works!
Breaking Stereotypes!

Kamil’s positivity impressed us. “Do not let your daughter have any regrets” & “you can’t raise a finger on her, you never have” communicated a world of wisdom to Shaista’s father in just 2 sentences.

Shout out to Yumna Zaidi for the moment she meets her dad. The manner in which she cowered, not knowing what to expect from him and the eventual joy – the tears flowed freely onscreen & off as we shared her happiness.

Pariwesh’s dad deserves applause for the tangible pride he felt in his daughter, her mother prolonging the hug she gave her daughter did not go unnoticed – we felt it too. Shout out to director Nadeem Baig for creating magic in a brief moment.
