For years, there’s been endless speculation about whether Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara would get a sequel. Fans have dissected interviews, read between the lines of cryptic social media posts, and held out hope that Zoya Akhtar might finally give us another road trip with the trio we fell in love with. And while we’re still disappointed that ZNMD 2 isn’t happening (yet), we’ll take this for a little bit of nostalgia—Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol reuniting for a campaign for Yas Island Abu Dhabi.

Called Zindagi Ko Yas Bol, the five-part series is basically a reunion tour, packed with inside jokes, breathtaking locations, and the same infectious camaraderie that made the film a cultural touchstone.
The first video is already out, and it’s playing all the right notes—starting with Hrithik finally getting his revenge on Farhan by tossing his phone into the distance. A poetic reversal of that infamous scene where Farhan’s character hurled Hrithik’s phone out of the car in ZNMD.
The campaign is a five-part series where the trio explores the best of Yas Island, taking on adventures and challenges—basically doing what they do best: making us wish we were part of their gang. The teaser already shows them joking around, daring each other, and bringing back that ZNMD energy we all love.
Of course, the masterminds behind ZNMD, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, are steering the ship on this campaign, and they know exactly what they’re doing. They understand that the film’s appeal isn’t just about sun-soaked road trips and skydiving montages—it’s about the friendships that make life worth living.
The Magic of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
But why does ZNMD still hold such a grip on audiences, even 13 years after its release? Because it’s one of those rare films that meets you wherever you are in life. Watching it as a teenager, you dream of the adventures you’ll have. Watching it as an adult, you’re hit with the bittersweet reality of how hard it is to actually make those adventures happen. It’s a film about friendship, growth, and the reminder that life is meant to be lived, not just managed. And if this campaign proves anything, it’s that we’ll always be ready to say “yes” to a little more ZNMD magic—whether it’s in a movie theater or on a Yas Island rollercoaster.
And to Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and everyone who made Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara the masterpiece it is—if you’re reading this, consider it your sign. The fact that a tourism campaign is giving us sequel-level excitement should tell you everything you need to know. It’s been over a decade, and we still want more. So maybe, just maybe, it’s time to give Kabir, Imran, and Arjun another adventure? No pressure…
