Tamasha Season 5 has just pulled off a quite surprising mid-week elimination, and Dr. Zee’s exit has left viewers wondering whether the contestant is actually out of the game, or whether the show has another twist waiting for him.
The latest episode, which featured a midweek elimination, put Dr. Zee and Yasir Alam in the danger zone, leaving the contestants and viewers waiting to find out who would be sent home. In the end, it was Dr. Zee whose name was announced, bringing what appeared to be a surprising end to his Tamasha journey.
Dr. Zee Was Visibly Disturbed
The way Dr. Zee was looking after the elimination was truly shocking. He is one of the most outspoken people in that house, but it appeared that for once in his life he could not find his voice. There were no complaints or anger expressed towards other contestants; only an obvious shock at the outcome of the game.
And perhaps that is what made the scene stand out.
Dr. Zee has certainly had his fair share of controversies inside the house. His arguments with contestants including Samiya Hijab and Esra Ayesha have repeatedly put him at the centre of the drama. Just recently, he was involved in another heated confrontation with Esra.
Yet when the elimination finally came, viewers saw a much quieter side of him.
He seemed disappointed, confused and, quite simply, caught off guard.
But Was This Really His Exit?
This is where things get interesting.
This is not the first time that Tamasha has gone down this route, whereby a popular or controversial contestant gets evicted, but the eviction is actually a deception and they end up being brought back to the game. And with Dr. Zee being one of the most debated contestants on the show for the current season, fans are speculating whether this could be happening again.
His arguments, his outspokenness, and his unpredictability have kept him in the limelight throughout the season. Therefore, when viewers see someone who has caused so much discussion being booted out through an unexpected midweek elimination, they cannot help but view this with suspicion.
Is Dr. Zee’s elimination a premeditated one with the contestant hiding in a secret room and then slowly coming back to the Tamasha house? At this stage, viewers can only assume, but should it prove that Tamasha has reverted to its old ways, perhaps Dr. Zee is not out of the picture just yet.
Babrik Absolutely Nailed the Time Challenge
The time-calculation game was another moment where Babrik completely stole the show. The contestants were asked to calculate exactly 8 minutes and 30 seconds, but no one came anywhere close to the accuracy Babrik managed to achieve. He stopped the clock at an astonishing 8 minutes and 20 seconds, missing the target by just 10 seconds. Considering they had to rely entirely on their own sense of time, that was seriously impressive, and easily one of Babrik’s strongest performances in the game.
However, I’m wondering, why did the Badshah not give them an actual task to save themselves? Could it be because he had already punished Samiya by saying she wouldn’t be allowed to perform the task? I’m not saying anything, just assuming!
So far, only Babrik and Fasih are safe. Let’s see what happens next and who manages to make it through.
