Tere Bin wins one brownie point one minute and then, the very next moment, it just slides downhill, with zero break control – you actually can’t believe what you’re watching! Aakhir aisa kiyon ?

Murtasim – Still waters Run Deep!
So Murtasim’s character runs deeper than we thought, and Meerab’s motivation is to seek revenge. It is definitely hard not to fall for Murtasim with him trying desperately to protect Meerab and not letting her cry. Murtasim’s own loss in the past makes him not only relate to, but also sympathetic towards Meerab’s trauma and her loss of freedom. Murtasim’s dua for Meerab was a heart winner and reveals that there’s a lot more hiding beneath the ‘tough guy’ exterior. The way he asks Meerab if she still dislikes him, was truly endearing. It was as if he was almost dreading to hear her answer.
And Just When We Were Falling In Love…
All these experiences make you fall for Tere Bin, but then the most ridiculous dance sequence appears onscreen, and you are shoved into a deep sea of disbelief. Who would want a sad, crying person to perform on their mayun? You wonder if the team was suddenly (and tragically) teleported back in time to the Star Plus era because presently, even Star Plus dramas have evolved in time. We wonder if sensationalism also has a limit.
Meerab’s dupatta screaming out blatantly “Muratasim ki Dulhan” was another crass, disappointing attempt to stamp ownership of Meerab. Meerab is probably hoping against hope that her adopted parents will show up eventually and hence she is happy and smiles when she mistakes Anwar for Waqas.
Final Win
The episode ended on a winning note as Murtasim arrived at Waqas’s house to take him and his wife to Meerab’s wedding. His efforts to convince Ma Begum to invite Waqas and his wife was a positive move on his part and made us respect him more. Tell us if you’re watching Tere Bin of the Star Plus vibes, the hero feels from Murtasim or Merub’s quest for revenge, which might turn into a love story … eventually!
