They wish everyone ‘Happy Birthday, Happy New Year, Eid Mubarak, Merry Christmas, Happy Diwali, Get Well Soon, Mubarak On Your Results, Admissions’, along with all the possible emojis you can click on.
Oh, and they also forward (uncorroborated) news that might create panic or a false sense of wellbeing.

2. Work Chat
Messages ping late night, early morning, mid morning, mid afternoon. Basically, no time restriction there. Just when you thought you’re done for the day, this chat will throw a message at you & catch you unaware.
Should you mute this one after 6pm? Do you think work chats should keep to 9am to 6pm timings?
3. Friends Group
NOW we’re talking! The group you get to first, in between & last in the day! The group that keeps you updated on anything & everything (and everyone). The group that you turn to for a break, a respite from the work group & a reality check from the family group. The group in which you can just be yourself. The group with the best memes & funniest jokes.
This group should never be muted. It is the cheeni in your chai, the cheesy crust in your pizza, the marshmallows in your hot chocolate…the mother of all WhatsApp groups!
P.S. just make sure you don’t write messages meant for this group in the other groups by mistake. Big problem that!
