The bird app strikes again! This time, it’s coming for our Pakistani desserts.

A tweet went viral, trying to take a dig at our beloved desserts. But little did they know, they were poking the beehive of Pakistani Twitter.
Our people take their desserts very seriously, and you do not mess with their kulfi or their kheer! How dare they say our sweets aren’t good? I mean, have they even tried laddoos, jalebis, and gulab jamuns? Do they not know the magic of gajar ka halwa or the richness of ras malai? Kaun hai yeh jo humare meethay pe ungli utha raha hai?
“When these two exist?? Bffr”
“You can’t be serious.”
“YOU’RE CRAZY”
“shut up. don’t you ever speak about them like that.”
“i love u jalebi i love u baalushahi i love u boondi i love u ras malai i love u feerni i love u gulab jaman i love u sohan halwa i love u sheer khurma i love u meethi tikkiyan i love u shahi tukray i love u zarda i love u pinniyan”
“You are telling me that you haven’t tasted Rabri Kheer like ever?”
“THERES NO WAY WRONG TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE”
“Why are JALEBIS please explain how they work those crisp orange curls that break and melt and the drops of sheera drip out like an elixir and make everything three times more festive?”
“I dont have a taste for desi sweets, I prefer western sweets. But you know what? I’M JUST GONNA CALL SOUTH ASIAN DESSERTS BAD UNDER A hOt TaKe” Gulab jamun, laddoos, rabdi, jalebi, etc are so disappointed in you.”
It’s clear that Pakistani Twitter takes its sweets very seriously. So let this be a lesson to all: think twice before you take a swipe at Pakistani desserts, or you might just face the wrath of our Twitter army armed with plates of siwaiyyan and bowls of kheer!
