Last night, renowned Indian singer, Krishnakumar Kunnath, commonly known as KK, passed away due to a heart attack right after performing a concert in Kolkata. He lent his voice to leading Bollywood actors including Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hritik Roshan, Imran Hashmi & many more. KK was the voice behind a list of iconic Bollywood songs including ‘Ajab si’, ‘Dil Ibaadat’, ‘Pal’, ‘Kya Mujhe Pyar Hai’, ‘Tu Jo Mila’, and the list goes on.
His loss has shaken his fans as well as the music fraternity in both India and Pakistan. Not only was he a great vocalist, but his songs have inspired an entire generation. Most people in the current generation have grown up listening to his songs, songs that taught people how to love, grieve, and move on.
Along with fans, celebrities and singers from Pakistan and India offered their condolences and remembered KK in kind words to bid him a final goodbye.
