A drama’s OST is as crucial to its success as its script and its cast. It is a preface of what’s to come and effectively delivers a montage of some of the best moments from the show. However, with multiple blockbuster hits gracing our screens this year, the OST became the defining factor when it came to deciding our favourite dramas.

The Nominations
Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay’s OST with over 9 million views is ruling everyone’s playlists nowadays! With Yashal Shahid’s soulful voice, Sabir Zafar’s heartfelt lyrics, and Azaan Sami Khan’s beautiful composition, it is hard not to fall in love with the tune. Together, the trio has created a song that will stay in our hearts long after the drama comes to an end.
Another crowd favourite this year was the OST for Ishq E Laa. Audiences couldn’t stop listening to it and it wasn’t a surprise because it is sung by none other than one of Pakistan’s finest young singers, Azaan Sami Khan and the lyrics were written by Asim Raza!
Since we have already mentioned the maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan jee, how can we forget his soulful voice in Khuda aur Muhabbat 3? It has a separate fan base! The female version of the OST features Nish Asher’s melodious vocals which is just the cherry on top!
Next we have Sinf e Aahan. It is undoubtedly the new talk of the town these days. The OST is sung by Asim Azhar and Zeb Bangash – Need we say more? This collab gives us such warm feels. Not only that, the lyrics are thought-provoking as they remind us time & again that girls too, can take on the world!
Last but certainly not the least, Parizaad. Parizaad has found a place in our hearts forever. Its OST, sung by the ever so talented Syed Asrar Shah, is as gripping as the drama’s storyline!
