The rerecorded national anthem will definitely give you goosebumps!

In a world of remixes, new instruments & digital, Pak Sar Zameen played to the traditional beat accompanied by images that speak volumes to Pakistanis suggesting that we hold alive, the dream that was the Quaid’s Pakistan. Why else would we applaud when seeing representation from a cross-section of society, faiths, sects, languages, and yes, women?

On the 75th Independence Day, the rerecorded national anthem has been unveiled.

According to Pakistan Today, The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting along with other institutions, departments, and a large number of artists worked together to complete the national effort. The armed forces, including the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and their bands, also collaborated. About 155 singers, 48 composers, and six band masters participated in the preparation of the anthem. More About The Anthem:

The video has been shot by Num Films and captures a kaleidoscope of people, emotions, and messages representing Pakistan. It is fascinating to note that the National Anthem of Pakistan continues to inspire new versions and yet, it is the old, the original, the first, that still pulls at the nation’s heartstrings.

In a world of remixes, new instruments & digital, Pak Sar Zameen played to the traditional beat accompanied by images that speak volumes to Pakistanis suggest that we still hold alive, the dream that was the Quaid’s Pakistan. Why else would we applaud teary-eyed, when seeing representation from a cross-section of society, faiths, sects, languages, and yes, women?

Pakistanis today dream the ultimate dream for their homeland. That beyond the hate, the divide, the struggle, the pain, and the challenges, lies the Pakistan we see in moving National Anthem renditions. As long as there is hope, the dream is alive. And as long as you have women scaling our peaks, dreams will come true for real. Just like in our National Anthem.

So for all those who say we are dreamers if we listen to this song every year and renew our jazba but only for a day, say to them, that reminders are important.

They are critical, every reminder will drive the ship forward like a strong gust of wind drives the mast. We will be nudged further towards our goals, and our dreams. That is what every National Anthem on 14th August gives us. The hope is to dream, take that gust of wind and use it right, challenge your jazba and create a better Pakistan.

The audio work for the anthem has been carried out by Aikman Road Studios and the video has been shot by Num Films with about 155 singers, 48 composers, and six band masters participating in the preparation of the anthem. The diverse singers include Balochistan’s Abid Brohi, Punjab’s Arif Lohar, Sindh’s Taj Mastani, KPK’s Sehar Gul Khan, Gilgit Baltistan’s Sidra Kanwal, Kalash’s Amrina among others. Some of the renowned vocalists singing the re-recorded anthem include Abdullah Qureshi, Bilal Saeed, Fakhir Mehmood, Humaira Javed, Taj Mastani and Umair Jaswal.
