Here’s our Karachiite challenge:
10 things to do in 10 days. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to cover all 10 things in 10 days in Karachi! So get ready, set, GO!
1. Visit the Farmer’s Market
Every Sunday morning, the school, Haque Academy organizes its well-known Farmer’s Market, where you can buy fresh and organic food items. The market comprises of a variety of stalls selling everything from fresh vegetables and fruits to ready-made meals. For example, the early morning chai-paratha warms things up a bit, especially in winter. My personal favorite at the market is the stall that sells organic soaps, creams and several beauty items made with natural ingredients.
It’s hard to get out of bed on a Sunday morning, and understandably so, but this is one of the many places you should not miss while you’re visiting Karachi. If anything, the though tof that early morning Chai-Paratha is a great motivator!
