We never imagined Dilnasheen in Fitoor carrying the Tokyo Olympics’21 torch. But here she is, jumping hurdles, wrestling enemies, running fast and furious, with the torch blazing in her hands…what is going on??? Is there some tournament in progress? Yes, very much so. Read on…
1. Boxing Round 3: Dilnasheen 1, Haider 0
Someone really needed to give it to Haider and his mom. They were riding high on their hypocritical self-righteousness.
Keeping Maimal in the same house, on the pretext of “where would the poor girl go?” and making Dilnasheen responsible for everything, from Haider’s romantic confusion to the current dollar rate, Dilnasheen’s susral needed a solid smack. Thank God, in episode 30, we see our heroine delivering it. WHAM!!!
2. Volleyball: Net Foul by Team Haider
You are a woman and your izzat MATTERS. I am a man and my izzat – not so much. Haider, when confronted by our fed up and very frustrated heroine, had no answer but to hide behind the same old cliched argument about women and their…you guessed it!!
Dilnasheen was, therefore, spot-on when she sarcastically called out Haider for his very weak woman’s izzat retort and fiercely challenging his patriarchial standards. Haider sahab – you were caught red-handed committing a foul a.k.a. hiding behind double izzat standards – one for him and one for her!!
3. Wrestling Or Bear Hugging?
Dilnasheen, what exactly are you doing, begging Maimal to “please, please be nice to me .. I have nowhere to go”? Don’t you know what Maimal wants? Girl, you need to stand up for yourself, forget the toxic teachings of your mama and bro and get your act together. Be pro active, plan your moves ahead of Maimal, assert yourself and for God’s sake, stop pleading to Maimal, to be kind. She ain’t going to be. But you need to get a grip on yourself!!
Good thing, in episode 30, Dilnasheen smacks down Maimal’s “in your face” seduction of Haider albeit indirectly while directly confronting Haider and sasu maa for their complicity. After DilNasheen’s much-needed outburst, will Maimal go back to her “win Haider back campaign” or stay down? Hmmm – we need to wait for the next episode to decide!
All in all, we propose that you closely follow Tokyo Olympics’21 while Dilnasheen busts some exciting moves, from the games listed above. But before Dilnasheen can get on that victory stand, she needs to decide, who and what does she want? Mr. Haider with his baggage – the confusion, double standards and his ex-mehbooba or the unlucky & reckless Hamza, who never wavered? Game Set Match!!
