“Start The Year With This!” 12th Fail Just made It To Twitter’s New Year Resolutions!
12th Fail, an Indian Hindi-language biographical drama film released in 2023, marks the creative prowess of Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who not only produced but also wrote and directed the film. Inspired by Anurag Pathak’s 2019 non-fiction book, the movie delves into the compelling real-life journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma. Rising from the depths of extreme poverty, Sharma defied all odds to ultimately don the uniform of an Indian Police Service officer.
As 2024 barely warms up, audiences are flocking to cinemas with a new year surprise that they weren’t expecting – 12th Fail it is for them. If the Dunki high still persists, this underdog from the world of Bollywood has certainly upped the watch quotient. The fact that the lead couple, Vikram Massey and Medha Shankar are getting loads of fan love is perhaps, a sign for filmmakers to seek true talent and give it a chance – after all, the results are stupendously impressive, as evident by recent audience reviews on the cinematic release!
Here’s a rundown on the tweets that made it to our feed!
Slapped without touching
After the years of struggle… I was fortunate to bring some happiness in the eyes of my mother who was griefing after the death of my father… The movie scene reminds me of bringing that smile back on my mother’s face..

Accolades For Vikrant Massey
You acted as if you knew poverty and rural background of Chambal as if you have lived…
Nothing is impossible if there is enough motivation & hard work. You need to believe in yourself & your dream. A movie that would inspire a lot of youngsters who get into this cycle of UPSC/KPSC attempts to come out successfully. Start the year with this! #12thFailMovie
