Ayesha Akram Case – Why #ayeshaakramexposed Trended On Twitter This Week
The Ayesha Akram Case, more commonly known as the ‘Minar-e-Pakistan incident‘ first came to light when several videos of hundreds of men sexually harassing a woman in Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park started surfacing on the internet. Naturally, the videos caused a stir in the media and the people were horrified. Lahore police were quick to take action and lodged an FIR against approximately 400 unidentified men and several arrests were made. However, the case is far frombeing solved. An audio clip has recently surfaced in which both Ayesha and Rambo are allegedly heard planning to extort money from the (arrested) suspects involved in the case. In the audio clip, Rambo can be heard asking Ayesha the total number of suspects arrested to which she answers six. He says they won’t be able to pay as much because most of them seem poor. Ayesha agrees and says they will barely get half a million rupees from each suspect.
Wait, there’s more! Another audio clip was discovered in which Rambo is allegedly blackmailing Ayesha and threatening to leak her intimate photos and videos. He sounds distressed and can be heard blaming Ayesha for ruining him. Ayesha has also gone to the FIA to report Rambo and his accomplices for allegedly leaking her intimate videos.
Lahore police are yet to make an official statement about the audio clips. They will conduct a thorough forensic analysis of the audio clips before confirming or denying anything (this is still a developing news story).
No Bail For Aryan Khan Yet Again

He has once again been denied bail. The superstar, Shahrukh Khan’s son, has been constantly in the news ever since he was arrested earlier this month (this is still a developing news story).

Meesha Shafi Addressed Her Struggles With Mental Health
Meesha Shafi took to Instagram to impart much needed advice to her followers about prioritisng their mental health and checking up on themselves to ensure that their emotional needs are being taken care of. She expressed how things might seem okay from he outside but the reality is only known to those who are suffering internally.
“Speaking of insulation, the bigger realization it has brought is that our own mind is the biggest troll if we let it be. So please… anyone struggling with mental health, talk to a trusted one if you can’t get professional help. Be gentle with yourself, tender and patient. Sleep extra if you need to. Take a break from family if they trigger you. Give yourself time to just be. Sit in silence. Cry if it comes. Count your blessings and on the days when that doesn’t come easy, pray for ease. Meditate. Cuddle with your children. Go for a walk. Have ice cream in your pj’s. Show yourself small acts of kindness. Don’t judge yourself. ♥️”, wrote Meesha on Instagram – and we couldn’t agree more!
Lastly, Upcoming Pakistani Dramas & Projects That Have Us Excited!
Three Pakistani projects are set to air the following week! They’re none other than – ‘Ishq e Laa’ (21st Oct), ‘Aik Hai Nigar’ (23rd Oct) and ‘Dobara’!
Directed by Amin Iqbal and penned down by Qaisra Hayat Sajal, ‘Ishq e Laa’ will (presumably) be a romantic thriller featuring the dynamos Yumna Zaidi, Sajal Ali and Azaan Sami Khan. ‘Ishq e Laa’ is set to air on Hum TV on Thursday the 21st of October and fans are already excited for another hit by Momina Duraid Production.
‘Aik Hai Nigar’ (23rd Oct) is a true story based upon the life of Nigar Johar who started out as a Cadet in the Pakistan Army in 1981 and steadily rose through the ranks to become the first 3 Star Lieutenant General in the Pakistan Army. Written by the celebrated Umera Ahmed & directed by Adnan Sarwar of Motorcycle Girl, it is produced by Nina Kashif of Humsafar and Mahira Khan under the banner of SoulFry Films. We look forward to an emotional roller coaster with Mahira Khan &, it is said, her former costar (Bilal Ashraf) taking the helm.
An Older Woman Falling For A Younger Man? This is the storyline (or seems to be from the teasers released so far) for ‘Dobara’. What is interesting is the formula of a widowed mother with a son nearly as old as the man she’s falling for. What’s even more interesting is that the main leads are none other than Bilal Abbas Khan & Hadiqa Kiani – the two sharing the screen together should create quite a stir!
