Fawad Khan starrer ‘Money Back Guarantee’ finally has a release date! It is all set to release on 21st April 2023 and the teaser for the film is coming out on 9th September. But hold on folks, Fawad Khan is not the only reason why this film is highly anticipated. Apart from the film being Faisal Qureshi’s directorial debut, it also features Pakistan’s much loved bhabhi Shaniera Akram and a cameo by her husband and the cricket legend Wasim Akram. Oof, we told you there was a lot to be excited about!
Recently, the first look of the film was released along with an announcement of its release date, which added to the fans’ excitement. Director Faisal Qureshi took to Instagram to surprise his fans & wrote,
“Unveiling the first look of the most awaited multi-starrer movie “Money Back Guarantee – MBG”. A film by Faisal Qureshi. Teaser coming out Sept 9, 2022, 10:00 am (PST).
In Theaters Worldwide: April 21, 2023.”
Wasim Akram also shared the poster revealing that the film was a “fun and interesting” experience for him.
According to Gulf News, Wasim Akram’s role will be a small one where he plays Fawad Khan’s nemesis. Well, we can certainly say that with this duo on the big screen, Wasim’s cameo will definitely be one to look out for!
Shaniera Akram Speaks About Her Experience
In an Instagram post back in 2020, Shaniera penned a heartfelt caption narrating her experience working on the film. She wrote,
“A nervous Shaniera behind the scenes of my first Pakistani movie! My days on set included a sprained ankle, a bathroom lock in, a painful tetanus shot, sleepless nights, loads of chips, language barriers to the next level, a romantic moment and an unforgettable chandelier stunt that gave me an out of body experience. Do you think I should get a money back guarantee? What an amazing experience working with the great Faisal Qureshi, and such an awesome cast!”
Gohar Rasheed Says It’s The Best Film He Has Done
Gohar Rasheed, who is also one of the actors in the film’s star-studded cast, told Dawn Images that he hasn’t done a film this good when it comes to the script and originality. “This is a really great film and I had a lot of fun, the rest is up to God,” he added.
Muniba Mazari Might Also Be Making A Cameo In The Film
According to Gulf News, wheel-chair bound activist, artist, and motivational speaker, Muniba Mazari will also be seen in the film along with cameos from Mustafa Qureshi, George Fulton, and Shafaat Ali.
Although details about the film’s theme are unclear, we will soon get to watch the teaser which may or may not give us more insight into what this film is all about. Fingers crossed!
