The moment every Pakistani student was waiting for has finally arrived – winter vacations have officially been announced. But…there is a bit of confusion with the dates. All eyes were on Federal Education Minister, Shafqat Mehmood’s official Twitter account as he never misses a chance to tweet the latest updates related to educational institutions and what people are most eager to know about – chuttiyan.
On 14th December, Shafqat Mehmood announced that winter vacations will begin from 25th December till 4th January. Before students could celebrate, NCOC announced that the vacation will start on 3rd January. But apparently, Punjab has a different story. This, of course, caused quite a bit of confusion and frenzy on Twitter. The Twitterati cannot make out if the vacations are because of winter, smog, or covid? And…what are the exact dates!?

As per our understanding, winter vacations will begin on 23rd December and go on till 3rd January only for Punjab. As for the rest of the country, they will start on January 3rd. Let’s hope they don’t announce new dates tomorrow so the Twitteratis can take a break!
