A young female social media influencer was allegedly gang-raped at gunpoint in Lahore’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA), according to police and initial reports.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the victim – who creates promotional content for social media – was contacted by one of the suspects through her online account for a potential collaboration. She was asked to visit a location in DHA for a video shoot and arrived there accompanied by a female associate who also works in the same field.
The suspect later picked both women up and took them to a private flat, where another individual was already present. The victim alleged that both men held them hostage at gunpoint, subjected them to physical violence, and sexually assaulted her.
The FIR further states that the suspects threatened the victims with serious consequences if they reported the incident to authorities. Such threats, police say, are common in cases of sexual violence and often delay reporting.
Police have registered a case at the Defence C Police Station against two identified suspects. Investigation teams have been formed, and raids are reportedly underway to trace and arrest those involved.
As of the latest reports, no arrests have been made.
Initial reports suggest that both women were lured under the pretext of professional work — a tactic that has been seen in similar cases involving individuals working in the digital content and influencer space.
The case has also drawn attention to recurring patterns of gender-based violence in urban centres, particularly involving young women engaged in freelance or social media careers.
Authorities have stated that further details will emerge as the investigation progresses, including forensic evidence collection and identification of additional suspects, if any.
Law enforcement officials have urged the public to avoid speculation and allow due process, while reiterating their commitment to bringing those responsible to justice.
This is a developing story.
