Yunhi might have started off on a slow note but the story is picking up and there are conversation starters where Dawood & Kim leave off! Which was your moment in the latest episode?

“Abb main itni bhi acchi nahi hun ki mai aapki har baat maanungi”.
Kim being Kim says it without any second thoughts.
Dawood, an apt representation of a Pakistani man who applies all his rules and expectations on his wife but fails to use the same energy with the rest of the family.
Kim Essaying Gradual Change?
Kim not only tries to diffuse the situation between Suriya and Razia, but also agrees to make omelet for Dawood. Though we are not sure if an omelet made by Kim is a good idea for Dawood? Are these the signs that Kim is finally, gradually, blending in with the rest of the family?
Dawood’s journey is slow, but we hope he will eventually reach the point we all want him to: that is, to stand up for Suriya’s rights and tell Dada jee to let her marry the man of her choice.
Reminders Of What We Accept As A Norm
The drama keeps reminding us how the clothes one wears overrule all else about our personality. Even though it is 2023, we still judge a girl by her clothes. The litmus test for her being a socially acceptable/decent and shareef person is reflected by what she wears.
Was Dawood being too judgmental when he said that the cafe was not worthy of Kim? Not knowing that ironically, his sister had also been there a while ago.
We wish Kim would stop playing this shadee game. The messages are on point but the basic premise is questionable and illogical. It is unfair for Dawood to keep playing the waiting game – if Kim would decide to stay and accept him or will she leave?
It has to be said though that Kim did warn him just before she tied the knot that she would be venturing into this relationship more as an experiment than a commitment, hence, Dawood could have refused to marry her at that point too.
Which side are you on?
Suriya’s Choice Doesn’t Matter
It is amazing how no-one considers what Suriya thinks or what she wants. Iqbal, despite having experienced similar treatment (and broken dreams), doesn’t have the courage to stand up for Suriya.
Zulfi can be the voice of reason who can gradually help Kim handle things better. Especially since she does listen to him.
Speaking of Dawood, is it not time both Kim and Dawood move to the next level in their relationship? Or, is the breakfast prep the first step towards many baby steps that will help Kim decide her and Dawood’s future? Tell us what you think in comments.
