Finally, (and we say this with a sigh of relief), Yunhi and Kim make sense. The drama is picking up and the story of Kim and Dawood is becoming a heart winner.

So Kim’s paranoia and her distrust of people are not baseless. The abuse has left a deep scar on her emotionally and psychologically. We wish maybe this could have been shown a bit earlier to put things in a better perspective.
Dawood & Kim Making Some Headway
The restaurant conversation was also fun to watch, seeing the two of them getting to know each other and also, finally reaching a mutual agreement to be friends, till one wins another or the other one loses.
Dawood is attracted to Kim but never oversteps the line, respecting Kim’s wishes and waiting for her consent. He may be finally understanding her better now and has a soft corner for her.
We do hope both Kim and Dawood will have a journey and not just Dawood.
Husband Expectations
Dawood’s response to his mother when she challenges him “What sort of a man are you that you are not able to control your wife”, was a reality check for all those with such thoughts. Razia’s dialogues were also ironic in that the very actions she finds wrong in her husband, she expects her son to do with his wife and is completely okay with it.
The drama interestingly highlights how, even though men are okay to scold and be sharp with their wives publicly, they are very uncomfortable expressing their affection towards them before others. The contrast was beautifully executed by Basharat and Razia.
Damaging Repercussions
Suraiya represents all those girls who are never given the comfort of their family to share their secrets or problems. Hence sometimes, they might end up making choices that are damaging or risky for them. Instead of listening to her, Iqbal made her conscious about what she was about to share.
What do you think of the latest episode of Yunhi? Are you enjoying it?
