Roshan – the star of last night’s episode. He made us cry for him when his father and uncles attacked him, then he got us cheering for him as he warned Meenu and protected her. Malaika’s betrayal not only shocked Nofil but also us, and broke hearts.

Roshan’s character is an ultimate example of how a relatively new face can be the star of the show, all thanks to great scripting, sharp direction and a heart-winning performance.
When Roashan’s father stops him in the middle of the road, one doesn’t expect that he will actually beat him up so ruthlessly in a public area. The three uncles looming over him, appearing from behind, made the situation even more tense, making us anxious for Roshan. The entire scene was so sad.
The Bond That Sticks!
Meenu and Roshan’s bond is pure and makes you smile. The way they look out for each other makes you want to have a friend like them in your life. As the brothers tighten the circle around Meenu, Roshan comes to the rescue, taking all the blame away from her.
Mirsasis – A Long Denied Profession Needa Its Due Place Amongst us
The word Mirasi was used multiple times in the episode. This effort by the creators and writer to normalize a term that is usually used in a derogatory manner must be appreciated. Roshan’s plight makes one think about how the Mirasi community is perceived, shifting perspectives towards accepting it as a profession, thus taking away any negative connotations our society has attached to it.
Dr. Nofil’s Lost War
Malaika betrayed Nofil sadly. What is to be seen is that did she speak of her own free will, or did she really have no choice and was forced to do this?
Dr. Nofil reciting poetry to Malaika over the phone was the cutest thing and Malaika just falling asleep was also relatable to many.
With some heartwarming scenes and heart-breaking moments, Zard Patton Ka Bunn prepares us for more to come.
