1. Wahaj Ali as Roomi in Jo Bichar Gaye

A powerful & convincing performance, small details in the wardrobe, gestures & mannerisms that show the effort Wahaj has put in to treating viewers to a completely different character.
2. Maya Ali as Sonia in Jo Bichar Gaye

We see Maya in a new look & character which is refreshingly different from her recent roles. She does an excellent job of portraying Sonia, who is fierce, strong-willed, having a mind of her own yet, a soft & poetic side.
3. Talha Chahour as Captain Farrukh in Jo Bichar Gaye

Only his 2nd drama & Talha wooed everyone with his solid & so realistic performance. His expressions, body language & dialogue delivery – everything was commendable. We are looking forward to seeing more of him in the drama.
4. Usman Mukhtar As Aswad in HKKST

What a beautiful performance – Usman is now making us feel a little bit for Aswad. The tears, the slight quiver in his voice as he spoke to Rabia about Mehreen touched us as viewers.
5. Feroze Khan As Mustajab in Aye Musht-e-Khaak

Feroze Khan was impressive as he portrayed the multi-layered Mustajab – from being arrogant, self assured, amused, angry & then challenged by Dua. He must be appreciated for communicating all these sentiments just through his body language & mannerisms.
6. Dananeer as Syeda Sidra in Sinfe-e-Aahan

Zabardast performance! Her comic timing was excellent & so natural, that it was hard to resist laughing out loud. Dananeer is definitely a great addition to the drama industry.
7. Yumna Zaidi as Shaista in Sinfe-e-Aahan

The scene where Shaista lost her money – Yumna played it brilliantly & her expressions were on point, making us laugh out loud. It was a pure treat to watch her as Shaista.
8. Sakina Samo as Dundonald phoppo in Dobara

Sakina jee is winning us with her comical performance which flows effortlessly onscreen with just the right timing & expressions.
9. Bilal Abbas as Maahir in Dobara

Bilal is making us feel for Maahir with such a natural performance, proving he is able to make a brief scene equally impactful with his performance. The way he showed Maahir’s defiance & pain in the conversation with his parents in the park spoke a lot about Maahir’s mehroomi.
10. Sajal Aly As Shanaya in Ishq-e-Laa

How beautifully Sajal portrays a young ambitious girl who can be fierce, kind-hearted, generous & then a nakhray walee biwi as well. And we are loving the expressions & adaayain.
11. Sohail Sameer as Sultan in Ishq E Laa

Sohail Sameer has made us all love & respect Sultan’s character! He is doing an amazing job performing Sultan – an elder brother who will go to any length for his sister’s happiness.
12. Azaan Sami Khan as Azlaan In Ishq E Laa

We liked how Azaan depicted the anger, the narazgi & hurt in Azlaan with mostly his expressions, tone & body language. There were not many dialogues, which made it even more challenging to communicate certain emotions.
13. Ushna Shah as Naheed in Parizaad

What a great performance, the hope, the regrets, hope again, shermindagi & then disbelief, and regret again. Ushna communicated multiple emotions as the conversation moved ahead & had more impact thanks to her.
14. Ahmed Ali Akbar as Parizaad

Ahmed portrayed such grace & control during that conversation – the way he moved his head, face, eyes, & used his hands, plus the tone, wow… each & everything was aimed at making that conversation impactful yet subtle with love, dignity & shrewdness.
