Web series are a major source of entertainment nowadays and Zee5 has always delivered on that front! That’s why we’re so excited that Zee5 is going to bring us three new web series starring our very beloved Pakistani actors and we can’t wait for them to release. Here’s what we know about each series so far:
1) Wahaj Ali, Zara Noor & Durr-e-Fishan Will Star Together In A Web Series Whose Name Is Yet To Be Revealed
The ‘Ehd e Wafa’ duo Wahaj Ali and Zara Noor Abbas are geared up for sharing the screen alongside the ‘Pardes’ star Dur e Fishaan Saleem (who might be playing a negative character) in an upcoming Zee5 web series. Name of the series hasn’t been revealed yet. The web series is written by the much loved Pakistani writer Umera Ahmed who is known for her scripts like ‘Durr e Shahwar’, ‘Alif‘ and ‘Hum Kahan ke Sachay thay’, and will be directed by the ‘Alif’ director Haseeb Hassan. Haseeb Hassan has also directed the ongoing Zee5 series ‘Dhoop Ki Deewar’ which is also written by Umera Ahmed. Moreover, Yasra Rizvi, Zara Noor Abbas, Furqan Qureshi, Mehr Jafri, Hina Khawaja & Javed Sheikh will also be seen in the web series. Wahaj Ali has also stated that it was a delight to work with Zara Noor Abbas.

2) ‘Abdullah Pur ka Devdas’ Starring Bilal Abbas & Sarah Khan
The very handsome Bilal Abbas Khan is all set to star alongside the ‘Raqs e Bismil’ star Sarah Khan in a Zee5 web series. ‘Abdullah Pur ka Devdas‘ is directed by Anjum Shahzad who is also the director of ‘Pehli Si Mohabbat’. The web series is written by Shahid Dogar. Raza Talish, Anoushay Abbasi and Nauman Ejaz will also be seen in the series. As per sources, Sarah Khan is playing the lead female character named ‘Gul Bano’ and Bilal Abbas will be seen playing ‘Fakher’. This is the first time Bilal Abbas and Sarah Khan will be seen sharing the screen and needless to say we are super excited.
3) ‘Mann Jogi‘ Starring Saba Qamar & Nauman Ijaz
The ever young Nauman Ijaz will be seen beside the ‘Baaghi’ star Saba Qamar in a Zee5 web series named ‘Mann Jogi’. Written by Saji Gul and directed by Kashif Nisar who also directed ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’, the series will include Gul e Rana, Agha Mustafa and Uzma Hassan. Saji Gul is also the writer of ‘O Rangreza’. Saba Qamar shared the news on her Instagram last year that the shooting has been completed and also praised her co-star Agha Mustafa. She said, “It’s a wrap! It was lovely working with you. You’re such an amazing costar! Sada khush raho.”
All these web series seem very promising and interesting, needless to say, we are eagerly waiting for them to air. Series with such good actors from our industry will surely be a must-watch for the fans who can’t wait for their respective storylines to unfold!
