1. Farhan Saeed as ASP Arsalan in Jhok Sarkar
Loving how Farhan Saeed is giving us a hero who is not only good looking but principled, smart and never gives up. But the best part is how Farhan has kept it so subtle and not gone over the top in terms of the portrayal.
2. Talha Chahour as Murad in Mannat Murad
Talha Chahour is making sure to portray the frustrations and challenges of being the only son who has to not only live up to his mother’s expectations but also take care of his sisters. And in all of this, he himself, as a person is just lost somewhere.
3. Rabia Kulsoom as Azra in Mannat Murad
Loving how Rabia Kulsoom has changed her look. She looks extremely comfortable in doing this role which makes Azra a very likeable character.
4. Sohail Ahmed as Guru Lali in Jeevan Nagar
What a fantastic performance as Sohail Ahmed portrays the struggle of Guru Lali while trying to be Baber Shah.
5. Ramsha Khan as Tabassum in Jannat Se Agay
The ambitious and scheming side of Tabassum is shown as such a natural progression in Tabassum’s character by Ramsha Khan. She keeps us curious as to what will be her next step.
6. Dananeer as Zubia in Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri
Zubia is making us cry, feel for her and then just be with her when she accepts her love for Saim. Dananeer deserves a huge round of applause for such an apt portrayal of Zubia, stuck between her parents and Saim.
7. Shaheera Jalil as Razia in Razia
A mention worthy performance by Shaheera Jalil as Razia. With a solid and realistic performance, she has done a great job of showing what Razia goes through. Her challenges, her frustrations, her wins and eventually her complete breakdown.
8. Mahira Khan as the narrator in Razia
Mahira Khan keeps us interested in the journey of Razia with her story telling, which is full of emotions and messages. What is commendable is how Mahira has used her voice, her facial expressions to communicate what Razia is going through, what devastation is happening or about to happen. The ways she is driving Razia’s narrative is laudable.
