Is Zaid also a victim of ego and Mein that he forgets all about his love, years of relationship, and choses to marry Mubashira just to prove Ayra and her brother that he is not a nobody?

Maybe Zaid Isn’t As Balanced & Logical As We Thought?
We thought Zaid was a balanced and a more logical person but maybe Mein is showing; if someone bruises your ego or questions your worth, logic and sense doesn’t apply, and you only think about proving the other person wrong. So, Zaid chose to show Ayra’s brother that he is worthy enough to marry whoever he wants and that also within two days. But it also does seem forced just to get Zaid and Mubashira married.
Ayra Assuming the Worst about Her Brother
It is frustrating to see how the dramas don’t stick to the natural progression or reactions from the character. Like Arya blindly assuming the worst about her brother, when all his life he has been there for her, kind to her and has always prioritized her, so she should at least have had a conversation with him as to why did he say all that to Zaid.
A Case Of Putting Women In Difficult Positions
Why do men have to put women in difficult positions and ask for immediate actions like Zaid did from Ayra, asking her to immediately leave with him for a court marriage. Time and some patience could have settled things, sorted out the whole situation.
Mubashira’s Motivations Are Bound To Her Ego
Mein sadly is not giving us any reason to have a positive attitude or feeling towards Mubashira or give her a chance. The reason she agrees to marry Zaid is her father’s screwed reasoning that Zaid will not divorce her ever. Neither the father, not the brother tries to make her understand how she must marry not to prove anyone wrong, but to have a companionship or a beautiful relationship. The drama sadly has shown Mubashira being devoid of any reasoning or logic. She is only motivated by what boosts her ego.
What We Wonder…
We wonder as viewers, a marriage that is done to prove a point to someone both from the bride and groom’s side, how can it interest us to keep watching it? Do we really want to see the war of egos now starting between the two? Did Kashmala intentionally suggest Zaid, a court marriage? Because she knew Ayra would never agree to that? We wonder why didn’t Ayra try calling Zaid to tell him everything rather than dramatically entering the wedding venue just when he said “Qabool Hai”?
