Unexpected Shocks
We had not even enjoyed Haji Sahib and Barbeena sorting out their first argument as yet and we were given the most unexpected shock of Qayyum’s death. It was just so so sad. Ayesha not talking to Haji Mushtaq was another heart-breaking moment. Is she just in pain or is she blaming him for her father’s death?
Baraan & Barbeena’s First Meeting After So Long
As the dead body of Qayyum is brought back home, we were all anxious and curious to see how would Barbeena and Baraan’s first meeting after so long, take place? What would be their reactions? Well, Baraan made sure Barbeena sees him, but he never made eye contact. He wanted it to dawn on her slowly and let it sink in for her. As he didn’t even talk to her in the kitchen.
Shameem Could Have Stopped Illyas?
Though it shouldn’t be, but Illyas still shocked us with the way he threatened Haji Mushtaq about staying here and not leaving town. Shameem with all her kindness towards Barbeena and Haji Mushtaq’s household, cannot make us forget what Illyas did because of her. She could have been more assertive and somehow stopped Illyas from doing all this.
Haji Mushtaq Opens His Heart To Barbeena While She Is Still In Shock
Haji Mushtaq crying helplessly and opening his heart to Barbeena was so heart touching and showed what a strong bond they have. Barbeena on the other hand is still in shock, she is lost. She is still trying to come to terms with the fact that Baraan is alive. On top of that if it is really Baraan, surely, she must be thinking about how much more complicated and heart breaking this all has become now. Should she stay with Haji Mushtaq or go with Baraan?
