The Archies, is an Indian Hindi teen musical comedy film, is an adaptation of the American comic book series of the same name. Produced by Tiger Baby Productions and directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film features a cast including Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda.

In what appears to be a more light-hearted, fun, and breezy adaptation of the comics, as opposed to the Hollywood version “Riverdale” the 17-year-old characters from the iconic ’60s comic navigate through their friendships, relationships, aspirations, and the desire to make the world a better place amidst music, fun, and dance.
United by a common cause to save a cherished park, they leave audiences with a powerful message – one is never too young to change the world. Against the backdrop of 1960s India, Archie and the gang grapple with matters of romance, friendship, and the future of Riverdale, all while facing the looming threat of developers set on demolishing a beloved park.
While everyone’s buzzing about nepotism, wondering if The Archies’ kids are riding the fame train just because of family ties or if they’ve got the talent to back it up. But this Twitter detective decided to take a detour and zoom in on the grown-ups we might’ve missed. And guess what? If you’re a “Made In Heaven” fan, you’re in for a treat!
1.Satyajit Sharma aka Hal Cooper
Satyajit Sharma takes on the endearing role of Hal Cooper, Betty’s father, and the friendly local bookseller in the series. He is widely recognized for his notable portrayal of Basant in the popular show “Balika Vadhu.”
Additionally, Sharma brought his talent to another hit series, “Made in Heaven,” where he played the role of Karan’s father.
2.Aly Khan aka Hiram Lodge
Well, here’s a fun tidbit! We’ve got some Pakistani representation in the mix too! Alyy Khan takes on the role of Hiram Lodge, Veronica’s dad, and the main antagonist in the movie. Interestingly, Alyy Khan, the British Pakistani actor who nails the role, has not only worked on this side of the border but also across the pond.
Alyy Khan plays Hiram Lodge, Veronica’s dad and the antagonist of the movie. I recognised him from Luck by Chance and Don 2 – both projects by Excel Entertainment, which also produced MIH. He is pretty good in Archies. pic.twitter.com/PWYlPxYlck

3. Vinay Pathak aka Dawson
Vinay Pathak takes on the role of Dawson. You might recognize him from his memorable performances in films like “Khosla ka Ghosla,” “Bheja Fry,” and “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.”
Pathak also makes an appearance in “Made in Heaven” as Karan’s landlord, who, unfortunately, reports him to the police under Article 377. Talk about versatility!
The always reliable Vinay Pathak is Dawson. He’s a recognizable face from Khosla ka Ghosla, Bheja Fry, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi etc.

He is ALSO in Made in Heaven as Karan’s landlord who reports him to the police under Article 377. pic.twitter.com/YcKc60U2s6
4. Delnaaz aka Pam
Guess who’s wielding the scissors in the Archies world? It’s none other than Delnaaz, rocking the role of the hairstylist extraordinaire, Pam! But let’s throw it back for a second – remember Sweetu from “Kal Ho Na Ho”? Did you figure it out? Because we sure couldn’t!
Delnaaz is hairdresser Pam, and needs no introduction – she is instantly recognisable from her many appearances across film and television, and may be most famous for playing Sweetu in Kal Ho Na Ho. pic.twitter.com/SQJKSuDEhs

5. Luke Kenny aka Ricky Mantle
Reggie’s dad in the Archies universe is brought to life by Luke Kenny, the same talent who rocked the role of Rob in “Rock On!” But here’s the twist – this versatile actor recently made waves with his intense negative role in “Sacred Games” as Malcolm Murad.
The second Reggie’s dad came on screen I had an “aha!” moment because that’s Luke Kenny, who plays Rob in Rock On! – one of my fav films and also an Excel Entertainment production.

6. Deven Khote aka Mr Weatherbee
The actor portraying Mr. Weatherbee is Deven Khote, better known for his role as a producer in notable films such as Udaan and A Wednesday. Interestingly, he also took on the role of Imaad Shah’s father in the final episode of Made in Heaven Season 2.
The actor who plays Mr Weatherbee is named Deven Khote, and is actually more notable as a producer – he produced Udaan and A Wednesday.

Incidentally, he also played Imaad Shah’s father in the final episode of Made in Heaven season 2. pic.twitter.com/2qUfwCaLRw
7.Mihir Ahuja aka Jughead
Mihir Ahuja, the talent behind Jughead in the Archies, also took on the role of Dhruv Jauhari in Made in Heaven!
This also sums it up to at least four actors who did both MIH and Archies – Vinay Pathak, Satyajit Sharma, Deven Khote, and Mihir Ahuja who plays Jughead (and who I think actually did a good job) and played Dhruv Jauhari in MIH.

8. Jamie Alter aka Gomes
Archies features Jamie Alter as Gomes, the son of the legendary late Tom Alter. You might recognize him from shows like Mismatched and Rocket Boys. Tom Alter, Jamie’s father, has left his mark on many iconic Bollywood movies.
Archies also has Jamie Alter, the legendary late Tom Alter’s son, as Gomes. He’s previously been in Mismatched and Rocket Boys, and his father remains an indelible part of a lot of iconic Bollywood movies. pic.twitter.com/YIsl5dIGyP
