Hamza as Hussain in Breaking News portrayed the role of a reporter. His character embodies that selfless yet self respecting male lead who watched out for the girl he loved, but allowed her space to grow, learn from her mistakes and achieve success against all odds. Hussain was that refreshing male lead who was free from the cliched judgements, biases and misogyny that plague most male characters in Pakistani dramas.
