Has Khaie also fallen prey to stretched scenes and repeated flash backs?
How does Channar Khan want Zamda to prove her innocence as he kept threatening her simultaneously… Zamda’s determination to not give up on her plan amidst all these suspicions and threats is admirable.
Bareera’s Hidden Agenda
With a history of suffering injustice and being the target of constant hostility from Duraab, Channar and Gul Wareen, Bareera might be harbouring many ill feelings against all of them. It was a surprise to discover that Bareera too, has a story to tell. Now that Duraab has asked her for help, will she actually help him or choose to take Zamda’s side?
The interesting thing is that now Khaie has trained us to suspect every character and expect them to do something daring or challenging. We cannot trust anyone in Khaie…
Women Power
Also, now the story has moved from the men in Khaie to the women in Khaie, showing us that they cannot be underestimated. Gul Wareen’s actions towards Bareera reveal that the brutality and lack of sense of fairness is not just in the men, but also in the women of the household.
So, will we see Bareera being okay with Zamda’s Khaie plan because that way, she can exact her own revenge too? Her hatred for Gul Wareen and the loss of her child will become the main driving force in her decision making.
Mind Games & More
Khaie is not just a story based on a senseless killing plot, it goes deeper into human behaviour and the concept of Fate and Karma. Karma struck, with Gul Wareen losing her 2nd son through Zamda, just like she had killed Bareera’s child.
Interestingly, despite the whole family suspecting Zamda, and Channar Khan now openly threatening her, she is not losing her wits. She not only urges Barlas to check on Apana, she also plants the idea of their marriage inside Channar’s mind. Interestingly, the setback of her missing phone has not shaken her will to take revenge.
Things To Watch Out For!
We wish and request the makers to not reveal so much in the episodic promos, because that spoils the element of surprise. Also Khaie started on a great pace and we would like to see the same pace continue further. But unfortunately, many scenes seem slow and unnecessary. E.g. Why was Zamda shown looking at every member of the house to check if they have the phone or if she can find some clue. Common sense would say, if anyone of them had the phone, they would have revealed her secret by now and they would of course not reveal it to her so blatantly that they had found out her secret. We hope this issue of unnecessary injection of scenes can also be addressed in the edit.
