Mehreen’s Villain Moves
Not Suleiman or Dawood, it was Mehreen who turned out to be the main villain, turning the tables and bringing Suleiman to a point where he has no option but to say no to Shahmeer’s proposal. We know there is a wedding happening, and we are curious to know who will be the ultimate saviour of the Shahmeer-Shibra story.
Though we like the simple, subtle yet deep and poetic moments between Shahmeer and Shibra but at the same time, the slow pace of the drama is now bothersome and we wish to see the next twist in the story.
Precious Moments
The “5-seconds” makes a comeback between Shahmeer and Shibra and just like Shahmeer, it is our favourite moment too. Love that the drama retains these moments and makes us feel connected with the characters and their bonding.
Shibra Giving Goals
Shibra was shocked to hear a refusal from Suleiman Sahib. She assumed that now, since Dawood had brought the proposal himself, her father would agree. What we like is that she still continues the conversation with her father, trying to convince him. Her silence in front of Suleiman Sahib does not stem from majboori, it comes from a place of respect and love for her father and that is so lovely to see. She still has the option to choose Shahmeer, but she doesn’t.
Suleiman Sahib’s Dilemma
Should Suleiman Sahib have told someone about what really happened, maybe Shibra? The real reason for him saying no? But how can he be blamed, he cannot risk Shibra’s life. Even if he tells Shahmeer, what proof does he have and how can he ensure that Shahmeer can protect Shibra. It is a father desperately trying to choose his daughter’s life over her happiness.
On the one hand we feel he should not be getting Shibra married like this in a hurry, let her live her life even if she is not with Shahmeer, but then we also understand that maybe this is his effort to help Shibra move on in life and forget about Shahmeer. If she is not married, both Shibra and Shahmeer will keep the hope alive to one day be with each other and not move on. Also, he must be scared for Shibra’s life and naturally want to protect her.
