Yay, Shibra ki taraf sey tou haan hai bus naa to Suleiman sahib ki taraf sey hai…Will he give in to his daughter’s wishes or will Shibra choose Shahmeer over her father? We are missing the smiling, goofy and heroic Fazal Baksh, what about you guys?

A Surprise From The Writer
The writer did surprise us all. Just when we expected Shibra to be angry at Shahmeer’s plan to disguise himself as Fazal Baksh, she didn’t do that. The reaction that she showed, seemed justified. Itna tou banta tha….From the confession to the reaction, both were not the typical ones we usually see in dramas.
Sukaina Calls Out Shibra’s Biases
Interestingly, when Sukaina speaks to Shibra, it is evident that Shibra is more upset about the class difference rather than Shahmeer pretending to be Fazal Baksh. Sukaina does call out her biases.
“Mohabbat mein sirf Qibla dekh ker neeyat bandhi jatee hai, kisi firqay ya tazaad ki bunyaad per nahin”
But looks like Shahmeer’s love has won and Shibra cannot deny her feelings for him.
The “Gareeb Admi” Dialogue
The “Gareeb Aadmi” dialogue was a total heart winner and showed a much deeper connection, an unspoken bond and the intimacy of knowing each other.
Dawood’s Antics
What Dawood did to Suleiman Sahib was below the belt. Calling him to his house and then letting him know the truth about Fazal Baksh completely shook him and broke his heart, which was brutal. Despite not agreeing with how Suleiman Sahib is dealing with the Shibra and Fazal Baksh scenario, we felt for him.
The mystery remains what really happened between Suleiman and Dawood a long time back? They both can’t seem to stand each other.
Sulaiman Sahib Displays A Lack Of Trust In Shibra
It was unfair of Suleiman Sahib to blame Shibra for knowing the truth before him and keeping him in the dark, when in reality Shibra had just found out. We wish she had cleared that out.
We expected Suleiman Sahib to have a slightly open mind about Shibra and her choice of life partner but he completely ignored all her emotions and refused to trust her judgment. The conversation between the two reflected the relationship between many parents and kids, where the parents believe their life experience is far greater and more important than any wisdom shown by the kids. Sadly it was also a classic example of parents’ using their position in an emotional way to get the kids to do what they want.
Poetic Feels Continued Thanks To The Writer
A big shout out to Farooq Rind for the beautiful rewind scene adding a poetic feel to the whole situation and making it so relatable to many dealing with heartbreak, when one wishes to go back in the past and undo that one meeting or moment that led to all the pain and sadness.
Shahmeer stayed true to his promise as he arranged the 17th-grade job for Sukaina’s husband. Their bond and their relationship will always be one of our favorite moments in the drama.
