Fazal Baksh and Shibra’s romantic sequence on Saif Samejo’s folk song wins hearts.

Mehreen has tightened her web around Shahmeer who seems quite confident that Shibra’s decision will be in his favour once he tells her the truth about himself. But is Shahmeer really the person Shibra had fallen in love with?
Dream Sequence
So on the one hand, we really enjoyed the romantic scene but on the other hand, we also questioned its placement and zero connection with the rest of the scenes in the drama. Previously, the dream sequences were always preceded or followed by Fazal Baksh or Shibra imagining them. But now, the scene appeared from nowhere and is not followed through after.
So should this be okay just because we enjoyed the scene? Shouldn’t there be a logical sequence of events before and after it?
But then one could also say that director Farooq Rind is experimenting and bringing a very filmy factor into the drama which seems to be working well with audiences.
Shahmeer’s Great Escape
We are curious to find out how Shahmeer will get out of this one? Can his love be so strong that Shibra will forgive all his lies and realise his actions were largely driven by his love for her? But should you even lie to someone you love in the first place?
Is Shahmeer really the person she had fallen in love with because clearly, Fazal Baksh is a completely different personality.
Is All Fair In Love?
So amid this love story lies a very, very important question…
“To win or lose, to lie or not to lie… is all fair in love?”
The Slap That Broke Hearts For All Fazal Baksh Fans… Was It Justified?
Suleiman Sahib helped Fazal Baksh by giving him a place to live, but then to find that very guy sitting so close to his daughter and not knowing if he really means well for her or not – it makes sense somewhat, for him to feel betrayed. But he should not have brought up the status and “auqaat” of Fazal Baksh, it seems that deep down, Suleiman Sahib is also very judgmental, despite all his principles.
Suleiman Sahib’s Trust Issues
Although he should have trusted his daughter, and should have had a conversation with
Shibra before approaching Fazal Baksh or even saying anything to him. This lack of trust and belief in his own daughter whom Suleiman Sahib seems to have a lot of confidence in, was disappointing.
Shibra In Love
One thing is clear, Shibra has completely fallen for Fazal Baksh. When he leaves and is not around her, she is not at peace and seeks him.
The magical “5 seconds” make a comeback between Shibra and Fazal Baksh and a great deal of appreciation for Farooq Rind and writer Abdul Khaliq Khan for adding such small yet beautiful moments in the episode and continuing them throughout the story.
Ishq Murshid is written by Abdul Khaliq Khan and directed by Farooq Rind. It is produced by Moomal Productions & MD Productions. The cast includes Bilal Abbas Khan, Dur e Fishan Saleem, Salma Hassan, Noor ul hassan, Omair Rana, Srha Asghar and others.
