Ahmed Jehanzeb On Life
He emphasized the importance of savouring every moment, especially during college or school years. According to him, there’s a specific time and age for everything. He stressed that life has different phases, and each phase comes with its own set of responsibilities. “There’s a time to be carefree and enjoy the freedom of youth. Cherish that time. There will come a point when you’ll need to be serious and mature. When that time arrives, be responsible and focused,” he advised. Ahmed wanted younger boys to understand that balance is key – balance between having a good time and taking on responsibilities.
About His Father & Music
Ahmed shared how his father always used to emphasize on Riyaaz (Practice) and would say:
Riyaaz karo riyaaz, practice practice. Kia karrahe ho, what are you doing to yourself? Idhar se udhar cricket khelrahe ho, faltu cheezon me time barbad karrahe ho tum apna.

He further shared that at that time he didn’t know how important it is to practice, but at 24-25, he learned that practice is the game-changer. So, if you don’t practice, you fall 15-20 days behind, and that’s in every job, every field.
First Stage Appearance
He remembered that his first musical appearance was before an audience of almost 5000, and he was only 6-7 years old back then. He was suddenly asked by his father, “Jao, uppar ja kay gao stage pay.” He shared how he didn’t really want to go up on stage and sing, but his father firmly asked him to go up and sing. He said that he went up on the stage, saw the audience, and started crying. He said his father came up on stage and said, “Tum jab tak utrogay nahi stage se jab tak tum gaana nahi gaogay!” Then he said, “I got to know ab kuch nahi ho sakta,” and that’s how he gained the confidence to face the audience.
Ahmed Jehanzeb further shared that this incident was a “confidence booster” for him. He would have never done all this if his father had let him go off the stage without singing that day.
