Why did Shibra assume that Shahmeer will not join politics or his mother’s party? Well, we are really missing Fazal Baksh. Shahmeer’s seriousness is now borderline boring and killing the romance. Fazal Baksh was part of who Shahmeer was or is. We wish Shahmeer had retained a flavour of Fazal Baksh, the actual person Shibra had fallen in love with.

Dawood’s Sharp Moves
Dawood has played a good game, hitting hard where he knew things will become difficult. He was aware how principled Shibra is, and he knows Shahmeer’s weakness for his mother’s party. But the question is, why is Shibra being a delulu? How could she assume Shahmeer will not join the party or participate in politics?
The guy asking for a selfie from Shahmeer was probably sent by Dawood to create a scene and scare Shahmeer. The attack in the promo is most probably, also orchestrated by Dawood. All this pressure and these events, one after the other, are not letting Shahmeer figure out things for himself. Though we expect him to be cleverer than how he is shown presently, and not let things overwhelm him, given his track record. Or is it that his mind only works sharply when he wants to win over Shibra?
Trouble In Paradise?
Unfortunately, both Shahmeer and Shibra turn out to be the typical husband and wife after marriage, when we were expecting that their relationship’s comfort and depth will translate into more than just staring into each other’s eyes. He takes the decision to join the party without consulting her, and she walks away like a typical wife. It was disappointing to see their relationship taking a turn for the worse.
The sudden gulf between the two created by differences in points of view doesn’t completely make sense and reduces Shahmeer’s character to any other typical man who pretended to be a different person just to win over his love and one he has her, he couldn’t be bothered anymore.
Till now the debate has been how can Shibra love Shahmeer because he is different from Fazal Baksh, and our arguments against that were, that Fazal Baksh is a part of Shahmeer. But now we do not see any trace of Fazal Baksh, and all we can see is that serious, and preoccupied Shahmeer. We wonder, isn’t it boring for Shibra? Isn’t she missing Fazal Baksh?
Other than the one sentence in Shahmeer’s speech in the press conference about supporting his father’s previous decisions, the rest of the speech seemed okay to us, so we can’t understand why Shibra was sooo upset. Are Shibra and Suleiman Sahib correct in fearing that they will lose Shahmeer and he will end up being manipulated by his party?
Can Shahmeer Make A Change?
Shahmeer is unsure about his decisions, as he seeks advice from his mother as well. But, having Shibra beside him, supporting him, talking to him, is probably what he really needs to find his path? Do you agree?
