Sajal Aly is pure delight to watch as Meenu. She builds an instant connection with the viewers where we feel anxious, excited and jubilant with her and for her.
4. Yumna Zaidi as Zarnab in Gentleman
Yumna Zaidi as Zarnab proves once again that she can communicate the deepest emotion with the slightest expression or gesture. When she confronts her father, asking if anyone has intimidated him, her expressions shift just in a matter of a few seconds, mirroring a fleeting thought in her conscious mind.
5. Iqra Aziz as Freeya in Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet
A solid emotional and heartening performance as Freeya decides to teach a lesson to Shahzain. From riding the bike to giving him a thrashing, Iqra represented the emotions of so many of us. She also avoids looking directly at Farhad initially when they are sitting on the rooftop, because she knows she is about to leave him, making us all feel for her.
6. Saba Hameed as Noor Jahan in Noor Jahan
An impressive performance that totally entertains. Saba Hameed is fabulous as Noor Jahan. Not only her sons, but the audience is also constantly engaged and absorbed by her energy and perpetual mind games.
