Bilal Abbas Khan as Shahmeer in Ishq Murshid
Bilal’s performance when he poisons Haroon Baig was impressive and showed his versatility as an artist to convey depth within one emotion.
Kinza Hashmi as Husna in KMBK
The way Kinza depicts the emotional turmoil Husna is going through is mention worthy. You can see how she is resisting one moment, but then gives up the next. It also makes us think if she is up to something more than just having feelings for Zaryab.
Arsalan Naseer as Zain in Radd
Arsalan has made us all fall for Zain with his performance. The best part is that his positivity doesn’t come across as contrived or boring. It was endearing and makes one want to have someone like Zain in our lives. His present turmoil and a grey side reveal is also a sharply delivered shift in character shades.
Hiba Bukhari as Eman in Radd
Applause for Hiba Bukhari playing Eman. It is a shift from her recent roles and the best part is her portrayal of Eman’s independence without making her look insolent or rude.
Sheheryar Munawar as Salar in Radd
The sadness that surrounds Salar makes you want to somehow brush away all the tragedy from his life. He essays the character without making us pity him. Appreciating how Sheheryar has evoked such emotions in audiences.
Hamza Sohail as Farhad in BRKRJ
Appreciating Hamza’s performance when Farhad sees his father’s dead body and afterwards, when he finds out that his father has given his Pakwan to Kiran, not him. In all these scenes, there were no dialogues, but it was through his expressions that Hamza skilfully communicated all the emotions.
Danyal Zafar as Zohan in Let’s Try Mohabbat
Enjoying Danyal’s performance as Zohan. It makes us smile. Danyal has kept it light hearted without making it seem forced.
Mamya Shajaffar as Mina in Jaan Se Pyara Juni
It is interesting to see Mamya as Mina, unafraid to say what’s on her mind without misbehaving or seeming rude. She wears a calm expression and then, suddenly comes out full force, telling the other person exactly what needs to be told to them.
Hira Mani as Husn Ara in Jaan Se Pyara Juni
Nice to see Hira in a different role from her recent ones. Husn Ara knows she is beautiful and doesn’t hide owning it, but is definitely taken aback when Junaid marries someone else right after her rejection. Hira Mani is doing a great job at depicting the different emotions of Husn Ara.
Shaheera Jalil as Kiran in BRKRJ
Shaheera essays a multitude of expressions that tell Kiran’s inner turmoil. Her emotional devastation at her father’s sudden death made us feel for her and conveyed the intensity of the shock she was undergoing.
