Sajal Aly as Meenu in ZPKB
Winning our heart is our favourite Meenu. Sajal Aly is just fabulous, whether it is Meenu letting out her frustration on the challenges and discrimination she faces at college, or encouraging Dr. Nofil to try things he’s never done before, Sajal’s performance is flawless and realistic.
Alina Abbas Shah as Safina in Noor Jahan
A heart-winning portrayal by Alina Shah, as Safina fights for her unborn daughter but sadly, loses the battle. The emotional outburst in the hospital and then later, completely shifting perspective for the betterment of her sisters, Alina delivered a formidable performance.
Saba Hamid as Noor Jahan in Noor Jahan
She is ruthless and lethal. Her cold response shocks and one wonders if she has any emotions in her, but then we see her interacting with her youngest son Murad, we glimpse a more human and light-hearted mom. Saba Hamid’s performance is impressive and entertaining.
Hamza Sohail as Farhad in BRKRJ
A big shout out to Hamza Sohail for a brilliant, heart-winning and heart-warming performance as he shows how Farhad comes around to preparing the biryani himself. What a beautiful scene. The way he mixed the biryani, the entire cooking process and then taking in the fresh biryani fragrance at the end…????????????????????????
Sheikh Mubashir as Roshan in ZPKB
Sheikh Mubashir as Roshan was the cutest as he receives a slap from Muqaddas, keeps smiling like a fool in love and then ends up singing, making us smile too.
Fahad Mustafa as Mustafa in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum
Such a natural and magnificent performance which would make one really like Mustafa. He seemed to fit the role like a glove and carry it effortlessly. We watch Fahad Mustafa performing onscreen and we are reminded once more why he is loved as an actor.
Emmad Irfani as Adeel in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum
Convincing performance by Emmad Irfani as the older brother who is clearly poles apart from his younger brother. Emmad Irfani makes sure that we all get a clear picture of Adeel’s materialistic, egoistic and self-centred nature.
Hira Mani as Husn Aara in Jaan Se Pyara Juni
When Husn Aara gets a call from Faris, Hira Mani delivers an emotional and impactful performance to show what Husn Aara is going through, making us all feel bad for her.
Omer Shahzad as Faris in Jaan Se Pyara Juni
A great performance as Faris calls Husn Aara and tells her that he won’t be marrying her. The emotions, the sadness, his helplessness and dilemma at his mother’s condition was well portrayed.
Sehar Khan as Deebu in Jafaa
Sehar Khan gives an on-point performance as a young girl rebelling against her father’s forceful decisions to marry her against her will. Her performance totally wins us, making us feel the pain a young person goes through when they are misunderstood or not heard.
