1. Ahad Raza Mir as Talha in Meem Se Mohabbat
Loving how Ahad Raza Mir is keeping it natural and real in his expressions as he shows the regret and tragedy that haunts his thoughts. The way he looks at Roshi, totally confused by what she is doing, was also very apt.
2. Usama Khan as Ammar in Sunn Mere Dil
Usama is doing a great job of portraying this guy who doesn’t know what he wants. He is plagued by doubt in his heart, maybe losing the attraction of getting Sadaf now and so tempted by Dania’s worship like love for him. He shows a variety of expressions and adds many shades to Ammar’s character.
3. Hira Mani as Hamsha in Sunn Mere Dil
Fabulous performance by Hira Mani. From expressions, wardrobe selection, styling, to body language, showing she is a great actor and has essayed Hamsha very well. We get confused sometimes, at times we can’t stand her and at times we feel for her.
4. Ali Ammar as Moon in Tan Man Neel O Neel
Great performance by Ali Ammar as he portrays Moon – Sonu’s friend who was assaulted sexually. Ali makes sure that he shows a mix emotions – trauma, betrayal and plain helplessness at what he underwent. Our heart goes out to him and without saying it out directly, he communicates exactly what is going on in Moon’s mind.
5. Sehar Khan as Rabi in Tan Man Neel O Neel
Such a heart winning performance from Sehar. She depicts many sides of Rabi in such a brilliant way. Rabi does not feel artificial or over the top even for a second. And that is something difficult to achieve with such characters.
6. Shuja Asad as Sonu in Tan Man Neel O Neel
Sonu Danger is winning us with such a realistic portrayal of a man who is trying to figure out things in life, his own path, and who admits he is not as strong as he should be. Shuja is doing an amazing job at portraying the softer image of a male hero.
7.Adeel Husain as Farjad in Ghair
Impressive performance by Adeel Husain as he shows the impact on Farjad after discovering the truth about Shifa and Saalis. There is not just helpless anger but disappointment and lots and lots of regret about what he did to Wafa in his ignorance, how he himself lost his love.
8. Nadia Jamil as Shakeela in Faraar
Powerful performance by Nadia Jamil as a woman who is in a torturous trauma because of the betrayal of her husband. Her dialogues are heavy and hit hard as she calls out for justice.
9. Hamza Ali Abbasi as Batish in Faraar
The perfect combination of a lethal and brutal murderer balancing a softer image as a lover who is willing to risk anything for his love. Hamza totally entertains you as Batish and is a treat to watch.
