Batish’s clever escape plan was the icing on Faraar’s episode this week!

Faraar delivers a thrilling plotline when Batish and Fasih face-off, unaware of each other’s identity. This amped-up interest in the story considerably. Batish’s love story with Sadia is now at stake with Fasih casting a doubt in her mind about Batish’s possible involvement in her father’s murder. Scaling the episode with gradual suspense build-up, wrapped up in a perfect plan by Batish to employ the police force against the thugs of QIP, and make good his escape, thoroughly entertained us.
Real Life Spotted
Faraar in addition to giving us a thriller story also mirrored the unfortunate reality of the political situation and lack of conscience in the public as QIP claimed Hamdani’s death and ironically, used the death of the very individual (put down by themselves), who wrote against them, for creating unrest in the city.
The fact that no one from the public, political scenario, journalists’ community, press or government at any level is shown to have raised a voice against QIP claiming Hamdani to be their man, was like taking a long hard look in the mirror when countless times, the citizens of this country have stayed silent.
Did we expect Sadia to raise a voice or at least not let QIP claim her father’s death as one of their own? Should we expect the same courage from her being the daughter of a brave journalist?
Perhaps it is all too soon and overwhelming and realistically speaking, too scary. Maybe the drama will show her taking action later.
Batish’s Love Story
Batish is unaware that he might have risked his love story big time. Sadia seemed very inclined towards him for help and wanted him to stay on as Fasih asked her questions, but Batish didn’t want to risk being recognised by anyone. It was an interesting meeting between Batish and Fasih for sure. As audiences we also waited to see if they both recognized each other from any past encounter or not. The suspense, the thrill of waiting to see if they would catch Batish right there and then made the entire scene very interesting to watch.
The story moves towards a more serious and thrilling sequence. The camera angles were engaging and deserve praise. The chase outside Sadia’s house was well-executed and the fact that Batish scaled the wall to get in but couldn’t find his way out, and then, used a clever ploy to escape was probably the icing on Faraar’s episode this week!
Is Fasih Going To Fall In Love?
The promos had made us expect that Fasih’s will also be another interesting plot. And although we await more action from his side, we have a feeling that Faish might also fall for Sadia, which will really make the drama doubly intense.
Poor Babrik and Nazish also must wait a while to finally see some interesting twists to their tales.
The party internally is also facing issues. Naseer has his enemies within the party waiting to bring him down and take his place. The sole track of Batish and QIP is taking the drama forward.
Shout Out To Creators
Green Entertainment is experimenting with many things. For a change, instead of screening highlights from the previous episode, Faraar’s episode this week featured “In This Episode” at the beginning… giving a preview of what audiences might expect to watch in that episode.
