Is Batish really fearful? Babrik and Fasih are making us wait. Catch up on our current Sunday watch!

The conspiracies in Faraar point to a web of betrayals and lies, the most recent one being Jimmy’s against Batish. If anything, any remnant of sympathy we might have for him vanished in the blink of an eye when we saw how he had double played Batish.
Poor Batish, who already has our hearts! Hamza Ali Abbasi is playing it so convincingly – the many shades of naivete, seasoned killer and committed lover, that we have a hard time not rooting for him.
If Jimmy knew that Batish was aware of Sadia being Hamdani’s daughter, why did he send Batish to kill Hamdani? Did he want to finally get his first target, and that too, Batish? Would that mean that if he killed Batish, he would be promoted to Batish’s position? Was it all a game of power for him? Saleem seems to be playing the same game with Naseer. The story in Faraar turns more intriguing with each passing episode. Top notch production and great performances are a treat to watch.
The winning story so far
Even though Faraar is growing upon us, Batish’s story seems to be the winner and has us totally invested as compared to the other plots. Though we really wanted to know what happens to Nazish and why Fasih is not back in action, but the drama is taking its own sweet time to tell us their story.
When reel meets real
The party meeting with the phone call had a distinct familiarity to it, especially Shah Sahib’s order to Saleem to stand up. Saleem seems to be sharper and more intelligent than Naseer. He was quick to figure out that Batish must be in hiding with an old friend who was probably outside the party circle. It was an interesting twist to reveal the friend’s clue through the picture as most people might not have thought about looking there or connecting it with the disappearance.
Fasih’s and Babrik’s stories seem to be stuck in time. We keep hoping that something substantial and more tangible will take place, but the entire story is moving at a snail’s speed.
Let’s see if we get to finally discover the connection between Fasih and Batish after he watches the CCTV footage. Will this lead him to Hamdani? Maybe that is how the two will be connected in Faraar.
Hamdani’s fears
Will Hamdani sahib realise that his being at the location of Jimmys murder and Jimmy’s murder itself are two connected events? His expressions seemed to reveal that he fears there is a connection, though he doesn’t know how. Will he connect it with Batish?
He is concerned about his daughter’s safety but keeps writing those articles against Shah Sahib and the party.
Was Batish’s friend correct, is he really afraid now, realising the party is more powerful than him and will not spare him, especially after he murdered Shah Sahib’s nephew.
