Faraar gives us the much-needed break from typical saas-bahu, toxic relationships and extra marital affair scripts. Batish is on the run and way ahead of Fasih’s game plan. Sadia is convinced Batish murdered her father, which makes us fear for the love story that was about to happen between these two. If that’s not all, lots more happening on the Faraar front, scroll on to read the latest episode review!

Another interesting and captivating episode of Faraar aired this Sunday. Batish’s character never allows viewers to turn away or miss, even for a second of the action onscreen. He delivers romance, humour, cuteness, sharpness, action and just the right mix of curiosity to keep his fans invested in, and impatiently anticipating the next episode.
Batish Playing the Game Right
Despite being a brutal target killer of a political party, Batish is winning hearts. He is the one controlling the narrative. He has led Fasih to the murderer of Hamdani sahib by giving him Naseer’s number. Now, can Fasih look beyond what is obvious and put two and two together?
The creators must be appreciated for editing the promos in such a way that we all assumed there will be a face-off between Fasih and Batish at Sadia’s house. We were anxiously waiting for the scene and perhaps, scared for Batish as well. What if he gets caught? But the makers surprised us as he never goes to Sadia’s house – another plus point for Batish.
But is Batish going to lose Sadia to Fasih despite all the clever planning? Sadia is now convinced that he has murdered her father.
Sadia and Fasih’s conversation was too simplistic and idealistic. Doesn’t happen in the real world. Sadia challenged Fasih and he ended up giving her refuge in his own house, although we did not notice any attraction between the two or any such interaction has not yet been hinted at by the creators.
Appreciating the drama for normalising adult children openly talking about the possibility of a 2nd marriage for their single mothers, like Fasih telling his mother.
The Saleem-Javed duo also keeps you entertained, and you are curious to find out how they plan to bring down Naseer? When seasoned, established actors are cast in character roles, these characters become very interesting to watch. So full marks to the team for very apt casting decisions.
Other Stories in Faraar
The conversation between Akmal and Nazish was very heavy and shot creatively. Although we do not understand where they were sitting and why there was a car in the background. As they both dissected their relationship and how they had reached this point, they suddenly became very relatable to many couples. The power of dramas and great direction and script is that it can influence minds and make you think in a certain way. Akmal basically cheated on his first wife with Nazish, but we all want him to be with Nazish.
It was disappointing to see Nazish not saying anything as Akmal was about to cut his wife’s hair. We expected her to be more forceful about it. When the doors are torn down by Shakeela’s brothers, we all wanted Akmal to escape even though we know he had cheated on his wife.
We are waiting desperately for Babrik’s character to pick up pace. How can Zallay not suspect that there was a message in the fruit basket? Now that the letter has been found, what price will Babrik have to pay…?
