Shifting the stereotypical images of singers, dancers and musicians who might not be very famous but have a small setup which allows them to showcase their talent and bring in some livelihood, Tan Man Neel O Neel is making waves in the Pakistani drama world. In the latest episode, the twist about Rabi’s father Ahsaan and Sonu’s mother totally caught us by surprise.

The story has suddenly become even more interesting and complex. Is Rabi’s father connected to Sonu’s mother and is he the father of Luddo (Sonu’s Phuppo’s husband). Or is he just helping Luddo and his mother due to some past guilt?
Did he kill Sonu’s father, Shaukat?
We’re Loving The Chemistry!
Rabi and Sonu’s relationship and scene are such a mood changer. They make you smile and laugh and simply warm your heart. Their relationship is without any pretentiousness. Rabi blatantly asks Sonu to support her in her false plan; that she is interested in him to escape Kami’s proposal. And Sonu, after some thought, agrees. What makes this typical twist refreshing is the fact they are not pretending that there is nothing between them, right now their intentions for each other are honest and they are just friends. Though things might change soon.
Rabi singing and Sonu recording the video… what a beautiful scene it was and the song is surely going to be added to our playlist. It was great to see the drama not only mapping out how raw talent such as Rabi’s can find a platform from a grassroots level, but also, the manner in which Rabi and Sonu have managed to find each other’s trust, support each other’s talent and keep the respect in a newly formed relationship is a shining red flag for onscreen relationships where boy meets girl can lead to so many wholesome encounters.
Messages on Inclusivity
Luddo’s character is sending out clear messages to audiences on inclusivity and acceptance. Where Sonu and his mother are so accepting and loving with him, Rabi will take her time, and the mention of children chasing Luddo whereby he lost a tooth shows us how such people are often relegated to the safety of their homes, protected from, unofrtunately the humans among us who have never been taught awareness of hw to interact with them.
Our Concerns
Did Qaiser plan the call to make the policeman realise he has no power or, was he genuinely waiting to hear from the lawyer. Again he proves that he is not to be messed with. But will the policeman take this treatment or choose to teach him a lesson?
Should Rabi really mess with Kami? He is not a fool and cannot be deceived by these simple distractions employed by Rabi.
Our Views
Interestingly, the drama has incorporated how sharing your talent on social media is the new norm now, with many digital creators in the new generation and using it as a means to gain financial stability. Rabi’s mother is also completely fine with Rabi publishing her video online. The drama also highlights that many social media success stories, fortunately or unfortunately give dreams to young people like Rabi, hoping that maybe, one day her song becomes viral. Where it can give dreams and hopes, it can also lead to the youth wasting their time over something that might never work out.
When those two men come to take Moon, one gets scared for him thinking Qaiser is going to punish him for reporting the assault to the police. But looks like he will be used by another politician for his pre-planned motives against Qaiser.
