Meem Se Mohabbat: So, the mystery of who kidnapped Shariq is still unsolved, but our guess is Talha, perhaps teaming up with Dada? And are the cyber crime people involved as well? Especially the way Talha seemed totally chill, cool, and wore a particular expression on his face. Roshi seems to be planning to kill Shariq either with poison or electrocution, maybe. And audiences are totally hooked to see what happens next.

Is the drama really going to show Roshi planning to kill Shariq?
We are curious to discover her plan, which is obviously now in jeopardy because of Shariq’s kidnapping?
The first episode shows multiple signs that Roshi had something deadly planned for Shariq, her comment to Dada about the rights of a widow on her husband’s property, her conversation with her friend working at the lab and then trying to hide something behind her back from Mahi. Subsequently, in the 2nd episode, we saw Roshi emphasize that Mahi and her family should be prepared at night- post rukhsati, because anything could happen. Her conversation with Shariq was also underlined with similar dialogues, indicating her intentions.
We are glad that the drama showed Shariq to have enough sense to feel that something was amiss – wondering why Roshi was so calm and looking forward to the wedding. He was completely taken aback by her confidence and calm tone when he spoke to her. We loved how Roshi’s tone totally threw him off balance.
Joint Family Vibes
Another thing that must be appreciated about MSM is the portrayal of a peaceful, united joint family. How lovely it was to see all of them prepare for the wedding and mayun. From Dada, Roshi’s father, to Chaman bua, everyone was fully involved, including Dadi making the flower garlands. Everything seemed familiar and reminded us of weddings in our own family. So relatable.
Roshi’s Plans
We question why Roshi was shown to be so out of touch with reality that she was planning, possibly, to kill Shariq? While we appreciated her earlier decision to approach the Cyber Crime agency, we would have preferred that she continue with the earlier approach – a great message for young girls who are blackmailed into such situations.
The present murder plan is undermining her character and making us question the messaging of the narrative. Should a young person give in to her ego and in turn, hurt herself through her actions, even if it means saving her self-respect?
We also wish the drama guided girls how to confide in their families in such a situation instead of someone else rescuing them. In this case, Sir Talha.
Roshi – Talha encounter on the stage was full of multiple emotions.
How it was difficult for Roshi to hide her tears and keep a straight face, and how she had to speak to him normally. The way Talha told her he had come to her wedding as a friend because she insisted, broke her heart. Is Roshi being brave or in the path to self destruction by going ahead with the wedding? We know her heart still longs for Talha, and that’s why she wears a disturbed expression as she spots him entering the wedding hall.
Roshi might have refused Shariq onve she discovered that he had sent the proposal but did she have any other choice but to give in to the blackmailing now? Should she have stood her ground and not given in?
Roshi and Mohid meet-up was cute and heartwarming as expected. The way she hugs him and makes space for him on the stage.
Was that guy in the salon sitting next to Shariq part of the cyber crime agency or hired by Talha? Was he involved in Shariq’s kidnapping?
Talha’s Secret?
We loved Talha’s expression at the end of the episode, sitting next to his father. Even his father was perplexed and couldn’t understand why he was so calm. His hands tapping, his feet slightly shaking and his face wearing a very interesting expression – of not caring about the ongoing tension around them.
Did Talha expect that he will probably marry Roshi, or was his intention only to stop her from marrying Shariq? Is a wedding the twist both Talha and Roshi didn’t expect?
