Not many people know that the Pakistani skipper is the first cousin to famous Pakistani cricketers Umer Akmal and Kamran Akmal.

In 2016, Babar Azam scored three consecutive centuries during Pakistan’s 3-match One Day International (ODI) series opposite West Indies. He became the first batsman to secure this record in consecutive innings.
3. Captain Of Under-19 World Cup 2012
Babar Azam was appointed as captain of the Under-19 World Cup of 2012 and the Pakistani team made it to the quarter-finals of the tournament. He also scored the most runs out of everyone in the tournament.
4. Impressive ODI Debut
After establishing a name for himself in domestic cricket, he made his international debut in 2015 when he was selected in the Pakistani squad for One Day International cricket against Zimbabwe. Amazingly, he scored 54 runs off of 60 balls.
