Here’s a list of actors who impressed us with their performances this week – Ameer Gilani, Sajal Aly, Sana Javed and more!

Usman Javed as Torsam in Zanjeerain
Usman Javed delivered a spinechilling depiction of an unhinged lover turned criminal, first urging his partner to drive the car faster and follow Rabeeya & Mudassir, later fighting Mudassir. Earlier too, his encounter with the child outside Rabeeya’s dhabba revealed a wild side – preparing us for Torsam’s unrestrained rage.
Ameer Gilani as Mudassir in Zanjeerain
Every Mudassir fan shed tears this week, even though they suspected he would meet a tragic end. Ameer Gilani won hearts in quiet yet impactful portratal of the soft, patient, loving young man who will be missed dearly. Ameer’s intense tone and expressions in his final goodbye to Rabeeya and successive fist fight with Torsam had us at the edge of our seats – tearful, tender and tense all at the same time.
Sajal Aly as Rabeeya in Zanjeerain
Sajal’s portrayal of Rabeeya’s horror at seeing Torsam – trembling, imploring Mudassir to stay by her side and later, shivering in the water tank all alone, unable to hold on much longer, was utterly heartbreaking and terrifying to watch.
Rabeeya’s fate hangs in the balance and Sajal made us feel every heartbeat.
Farhan Saeed as Anas in Bas Tera Saath Ho
Farhan depicted Anas’s shock on watching the fake video of himself in a manner that totally brought home the utter helplessness & gut wrenching pain he felt instantly. His trembling hands, distancing the phone from himself, as if to make it go away and the sense of shame in expression & tone was a powerful & relatable representation of a person who falls victim to cyber crime. Well done Farhan!
Sana Javed as Ansa in Bas Tera Saath Ho
Ansa’s reaction to the fake video, her shock followed by disbelief and then underlying sense of courage and determination which headlines Ansa’s character was so well portrayed by Sana Javed. Despite her pain and helplessness, she never let go of Ansa’s innate sense of right & wrong, and the strength to stand up for herself. Sana brought all that together in one episode without undermining the gravity of what Ansa had been through.
Faran Tahir as Mursaleen in Bas Tera Saath Ho
Faran Tahir fending off Anas as he attacked Shayan was an intense action sequence. The scene was high on emotion and Faran made it feel so real when he came between his son and his nephew. Despite repeated attempts from Anas, Faran seemed to be employing full force to keep him off. A very real feel sequence that delivered full impact.
