Here’s a list of actors who impressed us with their performances this week – Sohai Ali Abro, Nameer Khan, Areeka Haq and more! Read on.

1. Sehar Khan as Pakeezah in Aik Aur Pakeezah
Sehar has us in her spell. Her listless expressions, shocked body language, trying to come to terms with the attack on her, and then, her feelings for Faraz, finally revealed how deeply she felt for him, allowing herself to dream of a better future, just once.
2. Nameer Khan as Faraz in Aik Aur Pakeezah
Nameer’s subtle depiction of Faraz is exactly what makes the character so impactful. He is the calm in Pakeezah’s storm, his gentleness gives one hope, his journey from then till now, tugs at our emotions. Faraz has all of our heart thanks to a deeply sensitive performance from Nameer Khan
3. Umer Darr as Akbar in Aik Aur Pakeezah
Umer has mapped the dreadful path of a brother who is driven to contemplate Honour Killing. From caring older brother, to suppressed anger, and then the confusion and horrific shock that followed his actions, Akbar’s journey is terrifying.
4. Hina Bayat as Mummy in Aik Aur Pakeezah
Mummy is the perfect blend of compassionate, wise, tough love we all crave in a mother. Hina Bayat’s delivery, expressions and demeanour have possibly made Mummy the most endearing character we’ve watched onscreen in a long time.
5. Shahzad Sheikh as Shah Jahan in Muamma
Shahzad Sheikh as Shah Jahan is aptly challenging JiJi’s comfort zone. Is he the one playing JiJi for a change? Shah Jahan is making us curious as he delivers an air of quiet confidence that seems to unnerve his opponent and keeps audiences intrigued!
6. Saba Qamar as Jahan Ara in Muamma
Saba Qamar as JiJi might have finally met her match in Shah Jahan. JiJi seems slightly off balance, slightly nervous as she doesn’t have all the answers here. It is an Art to showcase a range of emotions in one character and Saba does it with flair, as usual!
7. Sohai Ali Abro as Shabana in Sirf Shabana
Sohai delivers an impactful character essaying a young girl who is independent, knows her mind and yet, sensitive and mature. She owns the screen as Shabana and once again, adds humour (when she practices her salary raise spiel before the mirror) and colour to her character, giving us an engaging watch.
8. Durrab Khalil as Bawla in Sirf Shabana
Durrab delivers an amusing character who makes us smile from the moment he enters the frame. His simple outlook and poetic-dreamy twist to the character instantly had audiences invested. A great start to the story.
9. Muslim Abbas as Tara in Sirf Shabana
Muslim Abbas entertained from the get-go in Sirf Shabana. Despite a brief appearance, Tara managed to leave an impact and one looks forward to an onscreen bond between him and Bawla in coming episodes. The singing was on-point and made us smile for sure!
10. Aashir Wajahat as Subuk in Kafee
Aashir aptly essayed Subuk’s tired demeanour – part anxious, part light hearted as he helped Zeba navigate Javaria’s wedding budget, making us feel for Subuk. The banter between him and Daneen kept things fun and positive.
11. Areeka Haq as Daneen in Kafeel
Areeka has managed to create a character in Daneen that is fun-loving yet sensitive, innocent, and sharp. It is so endearing to see her brighten up the frame. Everytime she rings Zeba’s doorbell, we look forward to some light, heartfelt moments. It’s a pleasure to watch Areeka onscreen.
