Actors Of The Week – The roundup of actors who impressed us with their performances. Wahaj Ali, Khushhal Khan, Romaisa Khan & more.
1. Wahaj Ali as Ali in Jinn Ki Shaadi Unki Shaadi
Absolutely love how Wahaj is performing Ali in Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi. His comic timing is good, and his expressions are subtle yet impactful. He has ensured not to overdo or exaggerate the character, which makes his comedy work even better.
2. Sidra Niazi as Zara in Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi
A big shoutout to Sidra Niazi for her role as Zara. She has clearly made a special effort to change the way she delivers her dialogues—her body language, her expressions, everything feels thoughtfully crafted. She has managed to strike the perfect balance of serious yet innocent expressions, which fit situational comedy beautifully.
3. Romaisa Khan as Nadia in Jinn Ki Shaadi Unki Shaadi
Romaisa Khan brings us a funny, slightly goofy, yet super-confident character that we all enjoy watching on screen. The best part is that she has made sure her delivery is not over the top all the time. Yes, in a few scenes she goes all out, but mostly, she keeps it one notch lower—making it enjoyable and never forced.
4. Ramsha Khan as Nisa in Biryani
What a heartwarming and relatable performance. Almost every girl who has ever fallen in love could see herself in Nisa this week. Nisa’s frustration, her inner conflict, the unbelievable realisation that she is not in control, and then her heart simply wanting to be near Meeran—all those emotions were delivered with near perfection.
5. Danish Taimoor as Sher in Sher
Loving how Danish Taimoor is bringing out so many shades of Sher through his performance. His softness is unmatched when it comes to Fajar, while his planning and cleverness leave a strong impression when he is dealing with his evil cousins.
6. Khushhal Khan as Meeran in Biryani
Khushhal Khan is winning hearts as the ultimate romantic hero. The way he confessed his love to Nisa carried every emotion that could melt someone’s heart. A big “yay” for Khushhal!
7. Azaan Sami Khan as Farhad in Main Manto Nahi Hoon
A round of applause for Azaan Sami Khan delivering an amazing performance when Farhad faced Siraj in the police station. The fear was evident, and without even saying much, Azaan conveyed all the emotions Farhad was going through at that moment.
8. Asif Raza Mir as Siraj in Main Manto Nahi Hoon
What an impressive, mention-worthy performance when Siraj confronted Farhad at the police station. His expressions, eyes, and body language were perfectly in sync to show just how furious he was.
9. Hashaam Khan as Hammad in Main Manto Nahi Hoon
Though it was a small scene with no dialogue, the grit, clarity, and focus Hammad portrayed as he shot the guard to save Farhad made for a powerful performance by Hashaam Khan.
