Such an emotional, heart touching performance that just made us feel the real pain of a mother, we forgave her & could only feel her pain. Zainab jee, you make us connect with the character through a realistic portrayal.
3. Wahaj Ali as Rumi in Jo Bichar Gaye
Wahaj pulls you in through his performance & despite a negative character portrayal, his depiction of Rumi is so endearing that you feel for him.
4. Maya Ali as Sonia in Jo Bichar Gaye
That deep love & need to protect Rumi is hidden deep down inside her as she balances her passion for justice. Maya gives us a tangible depth, an endearing quality to Sonia’s character which is so hard to resist.
5. Omar Cheema as Shil in Jo Bichar Gaye
What a strong & gripping performance. From picking a fight in the college, to his hard hitting speech, we start dreading him by the end of the drama.
6. Iffat Omar as Shakila in Aye Musht e Khaak
A solid performance that grips your attention. Shakila is playing devil’s advocate with Mustajab, pointing out his erroneous behaviour, yet making his every wish come true as well.
7. Sheheryar Munawar as Major Usama in Sinfe-e-Aahan
Such a heart winning performance that made us all a major fan of Major Usama immediately.
8. Zahir Lehri As Jamal in Sinfe-e-Aahan
Zahir Sahib made us super emotional with his portrayal of a father concerned about his daughter & then thankfully relieved as he’s ensured all will be ok.
9. Hadiqa Kiani as Mehroo in Dobara
Every week we are treated to a heartfelt performance, but what is most significant is Hadiqa’s portrayal of Mehroo’s emotions, which do not let go of her dignity at any cost.
10. Sakina Samo as Durdana Phuppo in Dobara
Sakina Samo is giving an amusing spin on Durdana phuppo with her comic performance. She makes us laugh & brings a refreshing twist for viewers.
11. Sajal Aly as Shanaya in Ishq E Laa
Rare are characters that are inspiring yet vulnerable & that is what Shanaya is. Sajal as Shanaya has made a special in our hearts.
12. Alezey Javed Awan as Ailiha in Ishq E Laa
Child star Alezey gives an impressive performance after her kidnapping, trying to free herself, and showing her helplessness.
13. Ghazala Kaifee in Ishq E Laa
How lovely is Ghazal Kaifee’s portrayal of Azlaan’s mother – the most calming, sensible & wise personality in his life.
